You know, when you try to rationalize a ridiculous idea, your
rationalization will be equally ridiculous.

It is not in Celest's, or Serenwilde's interest to create some sort of
'balance' between the Seren and Glomdoring. The balance that you allude
to is a harmonious type of balance, where both sides have reached an
equilibrium state, and may remain peaceful. This is not the type of
balance that could exist between Serenwilde and Glomdoring. The closest
we could hope to come to that kind of balance is one where both sides
are constantly at war, but neither side is able to overcome the other.

Surely this type of balance will lead to many more deaths, as it
requires a state of constant conflict. If, however, the Night Coven was
eliminated, and the area cleansed of the Taint, we could have a peaceful
balance between Gloriana and Serenwilde. This harmonious balance is what
someone seeking peace and seeking to avoid death would want.

I will not presume to tell Celest what to do, as I know they will make
their own decisions, but if they are to suddenly develop an interest in
balance, I think they will see that Gloriana is the way to go.
