Public News Post #310

Here, have a dictionary

First, I would like to beg the city of Magnagora to build a school such
that people like Bricriu can learn to read (and perhaps a lengthy lesson
on proper spelling of common place words like "have"... not "ahve"). Her
attempts thus far have not been up to par. For example, I stated the
following in writing (307):

-----

"First and foremost, you might notice that I have a great liking to the
dwarves of the Basin and their ways. My empathy for their situation has
lead to my own sacrifice and rebirth as a beloved and charming dwarf (or
so I like to think)." - Narsrim

With your inability to digest coherent sentences, you responded, "You
only recently became a Dwarf - within two months time. You have raided
for many years now. So, your argument on that statement is null."

As clearly stated, I have long since had a great deal of empathy with
the Dwarves. It was because of this empathy that I chose to become one.
Simply because I chose to become a dwarf recently in no way nullifies my
past empathy for their plight and my attempts to rescue them.

-----

Regarding Dairuchi, the village is tainted. With some of my other
associations that oppose taint, I do work progressively towards
releasing them from the fabled brainwashing techniques used by
Magnagora. At times, my attempts turn sour, and I must defend myself.
However, I would like to clarify that my primary target within Dairuchi
has always been the imposing city guards.

-----

Back to my former post, I stated the following:

"And whereas you can formally state what you wish, Erion and Jelaludin
have both proclaimed that in attempts to spite me, they will kill
noncombatants and novices. If you do not condone their actions then if I
may ask, have you spoken with them or legislated any policy in Magnagora
to ensure that novices are not slain?"

I ask you, Bricriu, to reread what I wrote (slowly, please) and then
read your response:

"As for Jelaludin and Erion, well, let me put it this way. You cannot
say that their actions are that of Magnagora as a whole, then turn
around and say yours are not. Erion and Jelaludin hold no position of
power in the city itself, either. Neither are ministers, or on the iron
council, and they are not our Warlord. As for such actions, they have
been asked to take it to people not fresh from the Portal before. After
that, however, they do have a choice that reflects on them and not on
the city they are a part of as a whole. Take a look past your own
hypocrisy for a moment, if, that is, you have the ability to remove your
head from its prison of being wedged firmly between your own buttocks."

Now, I realize you are probably getting lost in the words so I'll point
out the obvious:

At -NO- point did I state that Erion or Jelaludin's actions were
reflective of Magnagora as whole. Rather, I challenged your notion that
you personally oppose the slaying of novices by asking what you have
done personally to ensure that those within your city do not carry out
such a grisly deed. I realize you may not be able to control either but
for someone who does not condone such acts, I was curious as to what you
have done.

Furthermore, I never stated or implied that Jelaludin or Erion held any
positions in Magnagora. I do not hold Magnagora responsible for actions
of said persons. In fact, I have never said otherwise. I did imply,
however, that persons like Daevos or Gregori would be held responsible
for similar actions because of their position within their respective
Commune or city.

-----

With that said, I would like to take the time to ask a few favors from
you, Bricriu, prior to a response. Please beseech a scribe to proofread
your posts. It is a shame that such gold is being wasted on such sloppy
work. Furthermore, if you are going to insult someone in your writings
please read what they wrote and if necessary, contact another person to
break it down into terms you can understand and process. I would hate
for you to make a fool of yourself like this again.
