Greetings and Good Day, Citizens of the Basin.

The tribulation faced by many throughout our land is fierce and oft
times impossible to escape. Constantly ravaged by conflict, the war-torn
landscape of the Basin of Life has for too long sacrificed the greater
intellectual pursuits out of sheer necessity for the survival of its
inhabitants. Advances in science, theology, and philosophy have too long
been left to the wayside, and it is in hopes of rectifying this grave
concern that I now announce the founding of The Akashica Institute.

The Akashica Institute has been founded under a joint cooperation by
leading members of our society, and is in large part a multicultural
endeavor. From Magnagora, Brona Feyranti of the Nihilists, and from the
Serenwilde, Niara Serelle of the Hartstone, join me in this endeavour to
propagate an interest in the intellectual aspects of our society that
have been in many ways left to atrophy.

The Institute's main purpose is to provide a place for the advancement
of research in the scientific fields, discussion of philosophy, both
theological and otherwise, and debate of a political nature within a
setting free from the threat of conflict that so pervades the Planes of
Existence. Set within the Aetherways, Akashica will further serve as a
neutral ground upon which representatives of the Basin's vast political
spectrum can feel safe to meet for diplomatic purposes.

I have personally financed the initial costs for the creation of this
institute, and it is openly accessible to all at the main Aetherplex.
Further expansion of the Institute is due, and I wish to extend an
invitation and request to all entities within the Basin, cities, guilds,
Divine Orders, families, and individuals, to take up this opportunity to
finance a place for yourselves within the Institute, and should you be
so inclined, to help however you can towards the expansion of the
Institute's public property. Interested parties should seek to contact
myself, whereupon plans for your place within the Institute can be
properly drafted and the necessary agreements made.

It is my hope that the Akashica Institute will serve the Basin of Life
in varied and unexpected ways in our future, and it is my hope that all
who wish to see the expansion of our realm's intellectual propensity
will seek to contribute to this cause.
