Guido, to be honest I have never thought much of you or about you. And
so this is going to be my last post to you this year. I'm certain you
will post again and have the "final say." Well, good for you. Go ahead.
By doing so you'll be making my point for me. Just as you did in your
last post.

There are many you are "proud to call friend." I'm sure there are. But
everyone knows your character, Guido. They know your two-faced ways. So
what I was trying to say (and I thought I already did) was that no
matter how many people you call "friend," by whatever morbidly
depressing standards of self-interest you rank people as "friends," the
real question remains who is proud to call you a friend?

Now, I'm sure that some insolent dolts will see this as a reason to
continue this conversation to "defend" your honour or some such thing.
But, again, my point is not who will rampage on these newsboards for you
but who truly in their heart of hearts trusts you. Like your dearly
departed Visaeris, you have backed yourself in to an empty kingdom.

May you live a long time in its realm.
