You, Guido, and Erion

Darling Yuniko, it is the height of irony that you, so like Guido
yourself in alliances, are defending him and attacking me when I am only
responding to his and your obtrusive commentary on a discussion between
Erion and my husband. Here, let me rephrase that in simple terms a
tainted person, or a person who spend all day long with the tainted,
might understand:
You are Guido. Well, you might as well be. You have shown no more
loyalty to anything than he has. And as for Erion, I never said he
needed me or my husband. Erion knows exactly where we stand on his
friendship - and to you I will only say this about it:
Erion has always been loyal to his own beliefs. Always. He has never
departed from them or flip-flopped when current events suited it. I
don't condone his behavior, but I admire his fidelity to his ideals
however misplaced they are according to my worldview.
Now, as for your idle threats - and I do consider them idle - consider
this: We knew you for what you were when you were a Celestian and we
showed you love and compassion nonetheless. THAT is the Light. There is
nothing you can do to me that would break my resolve to be true to such
standards of friendship and forgiveness.
And if you do attempt to slay me, rest assured, I do have friends, many
of them, spread throughout this land. I wouldn't expect them to save me
or intervene, but just as I would take vegeance for their deaths, I'd be
willing to bet that our trust, loyalty, and affection for one another
would cause them to do the same for me if they ever met you in the wood,
valley, or streets of our Basin's regions. Let that guide your actions
and trust it to be true since it seems that, quite possibly, you are
incapable of understanding that you yourself aren't worthy of the
"friendship" Guido wrote of anymore than he is.
