Don't be so quick to judge the logic I use in picking sides.

I murdered no one in New Celest. Not a single creature. They directly
assaulted me and the others who had raised Crow, and we had two choices.
Either to sit and die, or to defend ourselves. That is not murder,
M'lady (Oh, how it stings my tounge to call you such!).

And yes, to clear up any misconceptions: This IS a threat against you,
Lady Lisaera. To you, to Lord Auseklis, to all who would nourish and
drive on the Serenwilde horde. I will be personally offering up any Fae
brought to be to defile your shrines. Nine Vernal Gods, who were nothing
more than energized mortals, were able to defeat Kethuru the Almighty.
No doubt a far smaller force could defeat a mere Elder God.
