To whom who celebrate,
This threadfall has been amazing, and I am so happy to be here and share the excitement with all of you, but I must voice concern for our small ones. I understand we must make the bunnies do not come to harm, but as you do, please be mindful of how you are picking them up!
Picking up bunnies by their tails or ears can be very painful and traumatic for our sweet little friends. When picking up a bunny, first, try not to startle them! Did you know some bunnies get so scared that they fall over from a fight? It's so sad! Please try some gentle cooing or coax them to you with food. Did you know that carrots aren't actually the best food for bunnies? Use one of your paws to support the bunny's soft little rump and your other paw to support its chest. Then, gently lift it to you. As you do this, try to have an aura of calmness and safety. If you do, the bunnies might begin to seek you out!
Happy bunny cuddling everyone!
