Hail, Basin.

Long has this world known the Portal of Fate. Yet, we continue to
understand rather little of how the Portal functions - we understand the
ramifications, and more or less what happens when someone comes out the
other end, as has been proven with the hundreds, if not thousands, of
Fate-touched adventurers who have ventured forth for whatever lays on
ahead.

It is perhaps to sate my own curiosity to host an open debate on the
matter, welcome to all who may make study of it. Specific topics or
points to cover shall be provided upon the debate's opening.

Should more scholarly debate be welcome in the Basin at large, perhaps a
speech and debate association of sorts might be organized.

The debate shall be hosted within the marble forum on the subterranean
level of the World Library, over which Mistress Miska holds domain. The
date, provided Time does not go awry, shall be sometime between the
tenth and the fifteenth of Dvarsh, 653 CE.
