Tidings,
After a long trek through the mountains of the Icewynderkyl, I have
located additional information that may aid us in our quest for Lord
Manteekan's fae. Months ago, when those of His order brought to our
attention that Lady Ravila had mentioned that there was a type of Fae
within the Icewynderkyl that had been seal away, and largely killed off
during the Soulless Wars ? the Wendigo. However, she also mentioned that
there may be a way to free them from their bonds with the touch of the
Wyrd. The Seal of Nature's weakening has also weakened their prison. The
location of the prison has yet to be discovered, but His order has told
us that Lord Manteekan has stated it will be revealed after the ritual
is completed.
In this trek, I travelled throughout the range, as well as the four
camps that we had discovered. The camps were of little use. Yet, in the
planes of ice, I discovered a sketch of what looks to be one of His
wendigo. The curious matter regarding the sketch is that the wendigo was
surrounded by a blizzard, and in the background of the sketch there
stood a Fae that we believe to be a Snowfaasia. Those of His order
brought this information to His attention, and He has tasked their order
with gathering as much gold as possible over the next two years. This
gold, I?ve been informed, must be offered to Him at His fulcrux. Lord
Manteekan has also stated that He cares greatly for the drive of His
order, and that their members must be the ones to contribute the most
gold to Him during these two years. As such, I ask that those of our
commune cease to offer gold to Lord Manteekan during these two years.
Apparently, word is that Lord Manteekan was very clear that if Their
members do not complete this task, the ritual to free the Wendigo will
fail and those of the Serenwilde may be able to sway the Wendigo to
their cause. This would deal a great blow to the commune, and it is one
I do not wish to see come to fruition.
Be swift and offer those of His order your support as able, Wyrden.
