Claims and Accusations

You give me far too much credit, Enyalida; mostly I am guilty of simply
killing things, and refusing to be killed by you and yours. I do
understand how distressed you are at the difficulty in completing that
goal- in fact, meeting your own demise instead- but such anger does not
justify wildly spewing accusations. I will further note that out of
respect for the wishes of my friends, I have ceased hunting the krokani
who live there for the nonce, and have not done so for some time at this
point.
I have not yet seen a rampant Goloth, nor have I revived one. As a point
of fact, I am still noted for having slain the Last of the Goloths and
ending the reign of terror over the Basin. A reign of terror, one notes,
that included use of the Heart of Shallah which was wrested from the
hands of the Cavaliers.
Without that Heart, what is he? A broken shell of a being, mewling
pathetically for whatever scraps of attention he can get. Stuck in a
lock of time. Do you fear him, now? Because you shouldn't. He is no
longer a threat to the Basin, and neither Estarra nor Avechna consider
him a threat any longer. His bid for dominance has failed, and unless
you plan to deliver the Heart to him once more... it will remain that
way.
I hope you do not plan to be that foolish.

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Kiani, in the year 344 CE.
