Serenwilde's Folly

Let me relate a tale to you, fellow Lusternians.
Earlier today, just a few hours past the turkey hunt, I found myself
quite overburdened with gold earned from the eventful hatching. Thinking
myself in need of some new armor, I contacted Nikua Gladheon, Seneschal
of Serenwilde, and a man I had seen advertising his leatherworking
services. I decided to try my luck with him, unsure if the ruler of the
Seren would be willing to perform such a transaction with a dirty little
Crow.
Nikua, it seemed, was quite willing to perform the deal. He had a set of
leather armor ready, and so we struck a deal. He positioned himself on
the Alabaster Road that leads though the Serenwilde, to put me out of
risk of the Commune's defenses. When I teleported to him I noticed two
others with him; Gwynn Gladheon, and a man named Marcalo. I disregarded
these others, gave Nikua his gold, received my armor... but suddenly
Gwynn strikes as me, and as I reel I am dragged into the forest by
Nikua, where a Totem and a number of moon maidens lay waste to me.
Even with all his foolish grandstanding lately, I did not expect Nikua
to assault me in such a cowardly mannor with absolutely no provocation,
for no other reason than to taste my blood. He is a violent fool, and
surrounds himself and fills the Serenwilde's leadership with his own
kind and kin.
I will let you all draw judgement from this as you will, but please
don't delude yourself into thinking this madman had any reason to kill
me so.
