On Raziela

Salutations.

Despite the pain of the past few months, Celest comes together today to
take a reprieve from their grief over the mutilation of our Lady
Raziela. Four demon lords of cursed, Light-forsaken Nil have fallen -
Nifilhema, Baalphegar, Ashtorath, and Luciphage - their essence
dispersed in the nothingness that is neither Life, nor Undeath, which
the Magnagorans seem to treasure so much.

Quite contrary to the level of intelligence our enemies would like to
ascribe to us as a city, we Celestians do know how to count. We also
hope that you are of the same opinion of us - that four is not five.

Gorgulu, the Devourer, remains.

What has transpired regarding the Lady Raziela is partially beyond our
control. Lord Eventru has stated that right now, the path to restoring
Raziela to her previous, unaltered state is not possible.

We Celestians have no wish to go to war. Such would benefit only
Magnagora, the Poisonous Engine of Deformation. We feel angry that the
communes took part in the Binding of one of our Supernals. Such an
action, we interpret to be flagrant disrespect for our ideals.

Some feel that there can be no act that would be sufficient to
recompensate Celest, and that there is no way to set us back on the path
of friendship. I disagree. If we seek reconcilliation by tallying the
net amount of damage inflicted upon "the other side", then there can be
no peace. We have come to a point where it is actions and gestures that
matter.

Show us, through action, that your sympathies lie with Celest - that you
are trying to understand the pain that our entire city is experiencing,
and our sorrow. The effort will be appreciated, I assure you.

Let this be an invitation. Join us in our crusade against the Demon
Lords, who sow dissent and destruction - these degenerate demagogues of
decay, defilation, desecration and death. Only one remains. Surely the
might of either commune would be sufficient to deal with Gorgulu. Better
yet, join together, and show us that in this matter, at least, we can
all agree.

As you know, the Devourer consumes fae as well.

Please. Write us a letter of response. We hope you will write it in
Demon blood.
