My darling Revan,

I feel the need to bring to your attention the fact that my birth family
is hardly as ignorant as you claim.

Our family is one of ingenuity and strength of character, as personified
by my brothers Vashner and Karnagan. Vashner was recently elected to the
position of Archmage in the Geomancers, as Karnagan has served as
Commandant of the Ur'Guard for some time. I, myself, have served my
guild as Conductor and served Magnagora as Culture Minister.

Our father, Marcalo, has not only been Geomancer Champion, but Cacophony
Champion, as well. Furthermore, my father is a straightforward man. He
does not shy away from his virtues, nor his vices. When he gazes into a
mirror, he sees himself. He has no need to lie or put on airs.

I find it distasteful that you would insult your fellow citizens, a
family much like your own that resides in Magnagora. We all have our
black sheep, we all have differences in opinion, we all make sacrifices
for our families. I may not share the opinions of my brother, Marlucia,
but when you insult my entire family for the actions of one member...you
need to be corrected.

The fact that you DARE to even mention the 'idiocy of your past: the
embarrassment you give your city and the shame you bring upon yourself'
in regards to another, is bemusing, at best. Obviously, your hypocrisy
knows no bounds. Do not think that Magnagora has forgot your lapses in
judgment, Revan.
