Inherent logical flaws

I could not help but notice Nerra's... touching... message exorting us
to not to give over hope in the 'bleak' times of a nuisance that seems
to be neither fatal nor more worrisome than a mild flu. Frankly, I find
that the message seems to be rather fawning, and moreover, more
sickening than this supposed plague. Tell me, Nerra, do you like the
taste of Ayridion's divine boots?
I could also not help but notice that you dismissed the immediate
vaccination against this plague as false hope, exhorting us to "turn
your hope and trust to the White Flame and find serenity through
purity". How very self-serving to use this chance to seek recruits for
Ayridion's Order... then again, perhaps that is the game, hmm?
I will not attempt to seek recruits for the Engine during such a time...
easy as it would be. Instead, I advise the denizens of the Basin to
think for themselves... which will you trust, a newly-minted God with a
tendency towards genocide, or your own logic and common sense? Instead
of seeking salvation in Gods, look to yourselves for salvation - the
same populace which has united to save the Basin can surely overcome an
irritating and rather nonfatal illness.

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Klangiary, in the year 181 CE.
