The Recommendations of the Hallifax Summit

This day, representatives of the Enchanter community from both Celest
and Magnagora gathered beneath the city of Hallifax, as well as several
observers, and a member of the Magnagoran Jewelers to discuss the state
of enchantments and their availability, price and sale. The Summit
Council weighed all matters of the topic during the Convention,
attempting to find the best balance between availability, cost, and
sales for all parties concerned, both the consumers and the enchanters.

The Hallifax Summit Council has arrived at these conclusions:

The current average price of enchantments is so low as to make
commercial sales of enchantments practical for a tradesman, requiring
nearly 36 enchantments to be sold in order to make one thousand gold in
profit. This current price detriments the consumer as well by causing
many suppliers to choose not to produce enchantments for the public and
thus reducing availablity.

The recommended price which the Summit Council arrived at after much
deliberation is set at 50 gold per charge. This price is set as such to
prevent unfairness from exorbitant pricing to consumers, such as prices
greater than 100 per charge, and also to provide a fair portion above
the bare minimum sale price required for any real gain (the bare minimum
was determined to be approximately 40 gold per charge).

As such it is recommended that for the profit of both the consumer and
the enchanter, that enchanters set their prices near the amount of 50
gold per charge.
