A peaceful Klangiary was interrupted by a dispute between Wapan Hromash and Worrel Fleece over which one was considered the better fisherman. What kind of fisherman could Wapan be if he lost his rod, however? Several targeted insults were traded across the Basin. Soon, a fishing contest was enacted in Snow Valley to cease the needless banter and ultimately decide the matter.

Berpo, Xiran, Jolanthe, Freja, Qistrel, Veara, Ayisdra, and Uzriel gathered to watch the epic fish trials unfold upon the slow moving ice floes. Berpo Fleece, one not quite of age enough to be left out of sight for too long, was escorted to the safety of the shoreline by Freja and Xiran. After a few moments of getting to know his keepers, Berpo spotted a worm further inland and suggested that it might make good bait for the fishing duo. Freja quickly seized the opportunity and with Wapan's borrowed spade set about looking for the creatures. High and low the adventures looked, with Uzriel unearthing Qistrel instead of a worm, Wapan being reunited with his fishing rod after Qistrel dug it from the earth, and a lesson in math from Xiran. Quickly, five worms were brought to the cub.

Afterward, it was agreed upon that Freja and Berpo were the winners of the competition and the tree tae'dae returned to Rikenfriez for a snack of fish tacos to enjoy. But will Berpo sit idly by after such an adventure now?
