Hi everybody,

Since all of our guilds are now live, I would like to post a quick
status update on a few things.

Elections will be opened for all guilds to GR1 members at Midnight GMT
on May 1. We hope each guild will have a nice, happy election with
plenty of poliitcal chicanery and backstabbing. Every guild will have
their writenews privilege set to 1 regardless of how their privileges
may have been initially set up.

Envoy applications are now closed. Those who are approved will likely
receive notification around May 15-30. Any applications sent after this
announce will be discarded. Thank you to all who applied, regardless of
approval in a few weeks, I would like to thank you for doing so as
participation in the envoy system benefits the entire game.

Things are likely going to be a bit shaky still for the next few weeks
or so while things roll out. I would recommend, as soon as elections
end, each new guild leader liaise with their org's patrons via message
to ensure all needs of the guild and organisation are met as soon as
possible. Guild leaders who win the election will also be moved to guild
rank 3 as if they were able to contest after winning.

Finally, I would like to give thanks at this time. Each and every one of
you, player and God alike, has been a part of this process to make this
release what has been. Time-wise and effort-wise, this has been one of
the largest releases in Lusternia history, shadowed only by the the
Overhaul and possibly the Undervault and Icewynd releases. Thousands of
hours have gone into this, from input and brainstorming to writing to
lore creation to building to coding to running the events, every step
having been a combined effort between the playerbase and the
administration. You all are what makes Lusternia the wonderful place it
is, and you all are the reason this release went as well as it did. From
the bottom of my heart, to each and every person reading, thank you.
