As you know, Iron Realms is donating 10% of proceeds from credit
purchases to the Red Cross this month. As an update, this charitable
gift will be earmarked for disaster relief for those impacted by Typhoon
Haiyan. As you may have heard from the news, the typhoon was
particularly devastating in the Philippines, killing thousands of people
and leaving even more homeless and starving. I was actually personally
impacted because my husband was in the Philippines when the typhoon
struck for his aunt's funeral. In fact, we talked on Skype just after
the typhoon struck and I saw the dark roiling clouds and the winds
rocking the trees behind him. Fortunately, my husband and his family had
moved to high ground in the mountains, so everyone that I knew is fine
and well. In any event, if you have been thinking about purchasing
credits, please consider doing so this month as it will also help those
who were not so lucky and are truly in need.
