We've received several requests to trade-in artifacts for a manse orb.
Manse orbs are paid for in gold, not credits, so therefore such a
trade-in is not allowable. However, we will allow trade-ins for manse
artifacts like the miniatures.

We decided that the basic manses should be bought with gold in order
that they would be more accessible to players. We simply cannot do both
as the credit market fluctuates and it isn't viable to determine what
the 'fair market value' is for credits to gold.
