Mystery of the Shallamurine Cathedral

Venturing beyond the magical wards that guard the Shallamurine
Cathedral, the Moondancer Asmodea Kamau searched tirelessly for days to
discover what lay at the heart of the mystery surrounding the White
Priestess. Finally, her persistence paid off, and she was able to return
the White Priestess to the land of the living.

The Priestess thanked Asmodea and granted her a powerful boon - remaking
her in the image of perfection and beauty. She then began to sing a
single note from the Song of Creation, sung by Dynara Herself in times
beyond remembering, which shook the Shallamurine Cathedral. The viscanti
at the Presidio of the Damned reacted in outrage, demanding the
immediate death of the White Priestess, as her song soon washed across
the Presidio of the Damned and drained the life energy from all who
resided within.

Eventually, Ashteru d'Illici, Daevos Feyranti, Saddim Halfdansson and
several other Magnagorans gathered at the Shallamurine Cathedral and
demanded that the White Priestess cease her singing. They were flatly
ignored, however, and a fierce battle soon raged between the tainted
might of Magnagora and the god-like powers of the White Priestess. The
battle was bloody and violent, but it was the superior tactics of
Magnagora that emerged victorious, and the White Priestess was returned
to her death-like repose once more.

Silence fell once more over the Basin of Life, but none are certain
whether it will remain - or for how long.

Penned by My hand on the 16th of Estar, in the year 153 CE.
