The Coming of the Scribes

Four Scribes arrived in the Basin this month by raft from the Toronada
Tidal Flats searching for scribes and scholars of the long lost Imperial
Library of Old Celest. They were met with the saddening news of this
Libraries demise, now left in ruin with the rest of the Isle. To meet
their curiosity, each of the Scribes met with rulers and officials from
each of the Basins cities and communes, in search of another suitable
Library with attendants capable of aiding them with their translations
of the ancient tome.

Finding each city without suitable scholars, and it must be said
suitable Libraries to study these tomes, each has agreed to aide the
cities and communes in the establishment of their own Library, firstly
starting with the study of the Printing Press, and the skill of
bookbinding. Each scribe has passed on the ancient art to the teachers
of these organisations in the hopes that once again great Libraries may
be formed to study their tomes and preserve history for the future
generations of Lusternia.

Scholars across the Basin have eagerly been lining up for lessons from
their instructors in the revived skill of Bookbinding, only the Fates
know if these lessons will prove fruitful for the establishing grounds
of Great Libraries once more.

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Juliary, in the year 124 CE.
