Rowena Nightshade, having given birth to the shadow faelings and proving
she was not barren to Viravain, finally agreed to give up her mantle of
being Mother Night's chosen. She summoned forth Mother Night whereupon
Viravain appeared. Though Mother Night attempted to greet Viravain as an
equal, Viravain cowed the Tainted Great Spirit who pledged finally
service to Viravain. From then, it was a simple matter for Viravain to
proclaim who Mother Night's chosen would be: Gwynevere
Whytetower-Draknoris, who took the mantle of Queen of the Night from
Rowena and subsequently took the reigns of control of the Shadowdancers,
the guild of the coven of the night.

With the spiritual side of Glomdoring fully awakened and overseen by the
Shadowdancers, and with the awakened nexus of the Master Ravenwood Tree
sufficiently empowered, the commune of Glomdoring came into existence
with full force. Viravain quickly establishing the Ebonguard (which came
into existence without even a guildhall), and appointed Daganev
Treeripper as its first Guildmaster to lead its organization.

Rowena Nightshade subsequently revealed that the proceeds she made from
selling potions went to the establishment of not only a guildhall for
the Shadowdancers but an underground network with the necessary
establishments needed for a fully functioning commune. An eclectic band
of those interested in Glomdoring soon entered the commune, establishing
residence, ranging from members of the Summer Court, who had helped
Viravain remake the Gloriana before her possession by Kethuru, and who
perhaps were in no small part touched by her madness, to the Disciples
of Crow, a group that banded and disbanded several times who sought to
establish a tainted commune.

But despite the many conflicting factions within the commune, Viravain
took complete and absolute control, an undertaking blessed by Estarra
herself, wherein Viravain appoints all positions of power and elections
cannot even be held until Viravain decides to allow it. Ruled under her
iron grip, Glomdoring begins to see that Viravain's erratic personality
is manifesting other qualities not seen before her possession by
Kethuru. It is becoming clear that her intelligence has greatly
increased, as well as a strong and unwavering will. Most notable of all
are her subtle manipulations, as she pits factions against each other,
and her sudden interest in secrecy and plotting behind doors. Though
some of the general populace of Glomdoring still perceive her as
somewhat mad, those near to her begin to wonder if this might be a
facade behind which a cold, calculating and craft mind hides, especially
after she donned the title of Mistress of the Webs.

And thus does the Glomdoring Commune arrive in Lusternia, birthed out of
madness and mystery.

Penned by my hand on the 6th of Juliary, in the year 115 CE.
