Rebirth of the nai'Dorin Blood Rite of Glomdoring

"Where is the crown?" is a phrase all too familiar to those who cross
Brennan Stormcrow's path, but it took on new urgency when the Glomdoring
Forest discovered that no one was quite sure where the Crown of Gloriana
had vanished to. After a rather unproductive questioning of the rotting
druid, the commune discovered that Brennan himself had given it to an
unknown mystic by the name Ulthaed Fangleaf. They were quickly drawn to
the library near Avechna's Peak to find a distressed Weeky Pedia
cleaning up after none other than the mystic himself.

After being convinced to return to the Glomdoring, Ulthaed revealed that
the former way of converting the Crown of Gloriana into the Ebonglom
Crown would not last forever, and that a new way was required. Together,
Ulthaed, Brennan and a very offended Rowena Nightshade attempted to
enact the ancient nai'Dorin Blood Rite, a ceremony in which the Queen of
Blossoming Night would be bound with her Summer King. The rite ended up
horribly, however, when the union between Rowena and Brennan failed, and
the crown vanished once more in a cloud of violet smoke.

The forest dwellers began their search once more, eventually finding the
crown in a hidden glade near the newly created temple to the wyrd that
had been estblished in the southeastern corner of the forest. Once
again, Ulthaed attempted to recreate the nai'Dorin rite, but this time
with the help of a newly selected Queen and King. With patience and the
assistance of the Dark Seneschal, Talan Ysav'rai and several other
commune members, Xenthos An'Ryshe and Rancoura, of the Shadowdancers
rose to fill the roles as Crow and Night's Chosen. And so the Glomdoring
has taken the feeble rituals of the past and turned them into tools of
power for the Glomdoring's future!
