The Oleanvir Adders

Several months ago, Abeytu, Keeper of the Gardens in Serenwilde,
discussed with Gwylifar llyrFarathan that he may have seen an adder
thought extinct near the arboretum. Research concluded that during some
long forgotten war, the oleanvir adders were viciously hunted for their
venom. Later, the rocs that hunt in the Oleanvir Valley finished off
what was left of these adders. Or so it was thought.

When corpses of baby adders were found near the cemetery of New Celest,
animal experts in the nomadic dracnari tribe in the Skarch who still
retain some skills of the legendary Beastmasters of Gaudiguch, as well
as Rheimos, the zoologist of Magnagora, hypothesized that some eggs of
oleanvir adders, being the only adders that do not bear live young,
could have somehow survived their trauma and hatched. However, the rocs
drove them from their natural habitat towards New Celest where they
died.

Amazingly, New Celest was able to return the dead baby adders back into
eggs. Also, Abeytu prepared a shelter to raise the young adders to
adulthood where they could safely be released into Oleanvir. However,
how to hatch the eggs? The only possible solution pointed that
Magnagora's zoo might hold the means. Daevos Feyranti, Warlord of
Magnagora, was at first interested in this project, but he was gravely
insulted when he approached Serenwilde and talks never got off the
ground.

Could this herald a return of a species thought extinct? Can New Celest,
Magnagora and Serenwilde ever come together to cooperate to make it
possible? Or will the oleanvir adders forever remain just a memory. Only
time will tell.
