Early one Klangiary morning, Bedelia Merau woke happily from her sleep.
It was a day of excitement, for that day was the day that she was able
to finalize all the plans for the wedding of her son, Pierre, and his
bride-to-be, Fawne L'Fevre. However, much to her suprise, she found
Pierre's room empty, his bed neatly arranged, and all his belongings
gone. Slightly worried, the woman mused that he visiting his love and
began to finish the planning without him.

Several hours later, Bedelia turned hysterical. Fearing the worst has
happened to her son, she fled Delport in search of Pierre, without as
much a word to Fawne about his disappearance. Heading towards the city
of New Celest, Bedelia sought to beseech the aid of any who crossed her
path. It was Talkan La'Saet who first happened upon the crying woman.
Concerned, Talkan pressed Bedelia for the cause of her despair, and she
replied that her son was disappearing. Dame Bellarin of the Paladins
passed by and stopped to listen to Bedelia's dilemma, and both quickly
agreed to do what they could. Soon, both Xedrik Luminare and the
Merciful Judge, Meliana Dekoven teamed up with the pair and turned their
attention to Fawne to seek answers.

The company of Celestians flocked to Fawne L'Fevre, who was startled by
the news. Fawne explained to the group that Pierre often took walks to
clear his head along the Estengare River. The cadre took the information
and began to sweep the area. Meanwhile, Bedelia hustled to the
Serenwilde forest, request aid amidst sobs. Several Seren including
Sarrasri Talnara, Lendren Starfall the Weaver of the Cuirr Arrane,
Kilana Dekoven, Galaphyrae of the Moon Coven, and Kelysa Mes'ard took to
the case, following the footsteps of the Celestians.

Aftering speaking with Fawne and hearing the same information from her,
the Seren took to the high ground while the Celestians scoured the low
ground. It was Galaphyrae of the Moon Coven who found an simple hut
nestled within the mountain range. Calling upon the Great Chieftain of
the Serenguard, Ehona Lacouronne, the Seren pushed their way into the
hut, only to find Pierre Merau happily working.

The Seren questioned the man and asked why he left, who responded that
he left because he did not wish to be married. The combined efforts of
Galaphyrae, Sarrasri, and Kilana led to Pierre returning to his native
Delport to explain his disappearance to Fawne. Upon arriving however,
Bedelia returned and hastily began to force Pierre to stop the nonsense
and focus on the marriage. Furious and unable to deal with his mother,
Pierre told both Bedelia and Fawne that he is not to be wed. Bedelia and
Fawne left, grief stricken, as Pierre painfully sighed. He continued to
explain to the audience of Seren and Celestians that he will wed when he
is ready, which means that only when his new pelt business is a steady
success.

Despite the entire fiasco, Pierre returned to his hut, eager for any
helpful hands to continue his business. But what of Fawne and Bedelia?
Fawne returned to her normal mirthful disposition in time, and Bedelia
quickly began turned sour against her son. The question asked around
Delport is whether or not Pierre will return for Fawne's hand in
marriage; however, only time will tell.
