Oh no! Ironbeard's brother has had quite enough of Solstice cheer and when it reaches its peak (as seen on SOLSTICE STATUS), he will arrive at his lair on Avechna's Peak to silence the merriment. Flintbeard offers a unique combat challenge as he is not your usual denizen. He starts out invincible and has to be weakened before you can actually damage him. Listen carefully to the song he sings when he arrives on Avechna's for clues to his weaknesses. To hear it you will need to be in the area, too.

Those participating sufficiently in the fight - be it through attacking Flintbeard or doing the other jobs to weaken him - will be credited with an honour line and completion of the quest upon his death.
