The Challenge of Nature was a trial indeed for mortals had to tackle obstacles beyond clues. The Hermit tarot card has been bestowed upon the contenders, a man known as Ghani n'Rotri its central figure. The beauty of the card, however, was surface deep for madness thrummed underneath the shiny exterior - not only were challengers slowly driven insane with each clue solved, but also found their efforts to teleport across great distances influenced and had trouble following in each other's footsteps.

Tremula started out strong, dominating the race with Marcella in her footsteps. Ejderha catch up soon enough and so did Veyils. Little by little they climbed, with Marcella, Ejderha, and Veyils going head to head for the longest time. The path of the Hermit was not for those faint of heart and soon problems began to plague those competing.

As those in the lead faltered, thwarted by difficult clues granted by the card, others sped along - Ixion, Yarith, and Aeldra were all closer than further at one point or another. As Marcella surged ahead, Tyamit took it upon himself to throw hurdles in her way, but she was not to be stopped! Beating her main rival - Ejderha - by just about a minute Marcella stood triumphant.

Congratulations Marcella n'Lochli of Magnagora!
