Blood ran in rivers as players competed for the Challenge of Death,
killing creatures mercilessly in an effort to strengthen the Seal of
Death. Eventually, Hissatsu Sojiro of the Serenwilde emerged at the top,
having slain the most creatures, enabling him to claim the Seal of
Death. Second place went to Nydekion, third place to Geb, fourth place
to Daevos, and fifth place to Rika.

In the Challenge of Harmony, the competition was of a different sort, as
Lusternians fanned out across all of the First World and aetherspace to
bring denizens under their influence, thereby strengthening the aura of
harmony about them that is linked to the Harmony Seal. Though not
without its bloodshed, the event focused on the abilities of the
contenders to converse with as many denizens as they can without their
egos being shattered by competitors, or their lives taken by enemies. In
this race, Galaphyrae was a clear first, strengthening her aura enough
to take hold of the Seal of Harmony. Following her were Catarin,
Nydekion, Xiel, and Geb, along with many others whose determination was
unflagging.

Now, with all Seals taken and borne by shards of the Elders, it soon
comes time when one will Ascend to strengthen them all, thereby shedding
mortality and binding the Soulless once again.
