Forest alongside Moon River. The area is bathed with silver light as a robust defensive aura suffuses the air due to a shield shrine of Lisaera nearby. Silvery moonlight sparkles in the air. A sedge of galingale is firmly planted in the forest floor. A marjoram bush flourishes here, spreading its delicate scent. Sprays of chervil cover the forest floor. Lovely coltsfoot carpets the forest floor. A solstice stocking has been hung here. A mature oak tree stands proudly here. Reaching up as high as the eye can see looms the awesome presence of a living totem. Resplendent light rays reflecting and refracting from thousands of brilliant facets, a delicate gem golem glimmers here. Valinea is here asleep, fading out of reality and surrounded by rainbows. They wield a leaf-life metallic shofa in each hand. Silver Regent Xiran Stormcrow is here, sound asleep. They are surrounded by a deflection bubble. You see exits leading northeast and southwest. Your movement causes your magical shield to dissipate. Galaphyrae rubs a magnificent handwarmer dusted with shimmering coal in her hands vigorously until it gleams and then redirects the warmth onto a pile of kindling on the ground, starting a cozy campfire. Galaphyrae twists the bottom of A White Copper Censer of Honey Redolence a few turns, releasing forth the mingling scents of peppermint and pine. ((In dream realm)) A mechanical whirring fills the air as Sciomore, the Logician intones, "Logic dictates that the Citadel is the only salvation against the nightmares." The Cathedral of the Creator's Eye. Radiating blissful healing energy informs you of a healing shrine of Weiwae nearby. Wide, blue-painted doors open to this short and austere vestibule: mostly white in colour save for a trim of navy along both the baseboards and the trim around the ceiling. A handful of chairs flank the entrance, positioned as such to give visitors a chance to rest before venturing further within the cathedral. Opposite the doorway is a tiered table of votive candles of different sizes and heights; some have been lit, the thin flames slowly melting the wax that pools across the table's surface. Planks of pockmarked, creaking wood tile like a mosaic, creating a checkerboard effect that gradually fades to a monochrome as it reaches to the other rooms. You see exits leading northeast, southwest, and northwest. You say, "Logic..." In ghostly silence, a hooded monk enters from the southwest. p monk Her face shrouded within the deep hood of her robes, this quiet monk has an air of unassuming superiority. Though the loose robes hide her body, her motions are quick and well-practiced. The robes themselves are a dark grey, fading to black in the shadowy folds of the dyed wool. A hooded monk appears to be extraordinarily strong. She weighs about 163 pounds. She has a great resistance to magic damage. She has a great resistance to psychic damage. You cannot see what a hooded monk is holding. It has the following aliases: monk. greet monk You greet a hooded monk with a sincere smile. Murmuring, a hooded monk says, "I serve Frai, the Hooded One. We worship Her in the Grotto of Ebon Secrets." [1] What is it that a monk does? [2] Tell me more about Frai. [3] Where is the Grotto of Ebon Secrets? [4] What is Nirvana? [5] What is the Citadel? [6] Who is Aelish? [7] Who is Sciomore? You say, "What is it that a monk does?" A hooded monk says, "We hide our bodies in worship of our Lady, that our secrets will give us strength to worship Her in the darkness." You tilt your head curiously. You say, "Tell me more about Frai." A hooded monk says, "The Hooded One hides Herself so that we may only know Her in the quiet darkness of our hearts. We woship her in the Grotto of Ebon You say, "And what is this place, Nirvana?" Softly, a hooded monk says, "There are many secrets here, beneath the skin of the world. We absorb ourselves in the dreamlands in silent mediation." You say, "What is the Citadel?" Voice hoarse with excitment, a hooded monk says, "Those who learn the secrets of the Lady are taken to the Citadel and transformed by Her power. I work hard so that my service will be recognized by the Lady so that I may join Her there." You say, "What is her relation to Aelish?" Head swiveling beneath her hood, a hooded monk says, "Lord Aelish made this place. He is Lady Frai's husband and closest companion. We honour Him." You say, "And Sciomore?" Shaking her head beneath her cowl, a hooded monk says, "It is no secret that Sciomore is jealous of Our Lady. He wishes to take Her place at Lord Aelish's right hand, but He is undeserving." You say, "Thank you for your time. I must join those arriving as supporters of Panaxra." You scent at the air, your skilled nose picking up the faint traces of others in the surrounding area. Veldrin from the Pillar of Nirvana. Uzriel from the Pillar of Nirvana. Zagreus from near a singing stream. Ayisdra from the Pillar of Nirvana. Tirah from the Pillar of Nirvana. Eiselle from the Pillar of Nirvana. Valinea from the Pillar of Nirvana. Huskii from the Pillar of Nirvana. Pyawr from the Pillar of Nirvana. Esei from the Pillar of Nirvana. Qoivhae from the Pillar of Nirvana. Tikki from the Pillar of Nirvana. Sapphira from the Pillar of Nirvana. Einke from the Pillar of Nirvana. Tylwyth from the Pillar of Nirvana. Silvanos from the Pillar of Nirvana. Ferelith from killing field of grass blades. Mellori from the Pillar of Nirvana. The scent of blackthorn blossoms briefly fills the air as the whispering voice of Esei states, "You claim the Dreaming is safe under your pact, o False Gods. How are you so sure of that?" You lift a hand languidly and send a moonbeam to Huskii. You gently rise into the air and dance along a moonbeam to Huskii. The Pillar of Nirvana. Swirling mists of colour elaborate the opalescent surface of the Pillar of Nirvana, which rises from the top of the hill to scratch against the very vault of the sky. Fanning out an impressive frill of burgeoning begonias, a flourishing vinestalker twitches narrow, tufted stems of spiky asphodel here. Resplendent light rays reflecting and refracting from thousands of brilliant facets, a delicate gem golem glimmers here. Impeccably dressed for adventure, a gentleman scientist of refined bearing is poised nearby, his diabolical inventions at the ready for casual violence. A tremendous emerald and onyx hydra with wings of coruscating black flame looms here, five heads snapping viciously. Swirling clouds of purest white meld to outline the ghostly figure of a stormy air elemental here. A golden oak tree depicted on his armour, a fae knight stands here, proud and shining. Eiselle, Spicy Cinnabun with a Nymph face stands here, her presence perfuming the air with the warm scent of mouth-watering confections. She wields a pink cotton candy mace in her left hand and a fiery basalt staff in her right hand. Valinea is here, pondering thoughtfully. They wield a leaf-life metallic shofa in each hand. Huskii Myeras stands here, enrobed in an array of swirling, autumnal leaves. They wield a white-hot whip of electrical discharge in their right hand. A fire elemental burns here, riotous red flames twisting in chaotic patterns. Wyrden Haruspex Esei Shee-Slaugh, of the Ascending Dusk floats here, suffusing the air with the sickly-sweet scent of blackthorn blossoms. They wield a dagger of seething shadow in their left hand. Their hood raised high to conceal their features, a robed academian studies here. He is surrounded by a deflection bubble. Sugary Savant Tikki, Chair of Hallifax with a Blank face stands here, her presence perfuming the air with the warm scent of mouth-watering confections. She wields a delicate crystal staff in her left hand and a mechanical parasol in her right hand. Lips curved in a cruel smile, a sadistic artist spattered in paint and blood muses here, contemplating her next macabre masterpiece. A baleful crow perches here, crimson eyes piercing in their glare. A baleful crow perches here, crimson eyes piercing in their glare. Couturier Silvanos Lunarose, The Gaudigoose with a Pilgrim face drifts here, vibrant blossoms surging out of the ground around them. They wield a heavy golden hammer in each hand. The shadowy form of a Daughter of the Night stands here, exuding wyrden power from within swirling black robes. You see exits leading northeast, east, southeast, southwest, west, and northwest. Your movement causes your magical shield to dissipate. Barely audible is the devoted murmur of a chosen one as she wanders in from the northwest. Huskii utters a deep, rumbling laugh. With the sound of flapping gills, Magister Qoivhae Vivalde, the Charter of Courses asks Zagreus, "Left?" Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade says, "Left the Citadel to come here, to the Dreamlands proper." Intoning with the rhythm of deep memory, a chosen one says, "And when the land was created below, the Creator beckoned His kin and together from sheer nothingness made the Heavenly Citadel. Against all will and law of nature, it floats with the grace of His Light. The Book of Light, 7:12." Comprehension flashes across Qoivhae's face. With a wistful look on their face, Valinea touches the Pillar of Nirvana. Valinea touches the Pillar of Nirvana but it remains dormant. Huskii ponders the situation. You follow Huskii Myeras southwest to surrounded by onyx walls and neon blue circuitry. Swiftly crossing their arms over their chest, Huskii gives a quick bow in a gesture of greeting. The Logician's single red eye flares into view behind the centre lens of his mask, locking onto you. Light builds within the black glass until it blazes out towards you, a laser bolt darting out to sear your body. Flames lick around you - you are on fire! Your flesh is charred, and you receive first degree burns. Sciomore, the Logician says, "Leave our realm. You are not welcome here, and it is illogical to speak with you." Flames lick around you - you are on fire! Your flesh is charred, and you receive second degree burns. A series of bleeps and creaks are emitted from the Logician's chestplate as he turns to survey you. His single glowing eye jumps between its lenses, and only when he has fully assessed you does he strike: with an unnaturally fast punch to the weakest spot in your side. Lightning crackles painfully around the wound in his wake. A bright neon glow fills the area as the many tubes on Sciomore's mechanical body erupt with power, sending painful flares of energy over all about him. You stumble back in agony, blinded by the light. You feel your vision grow dark as the sight of the world leaves you. (Curing scramble.) You follow Huskii Myeras northeast to an errant fall of drifting, glittering pollen. You say, "Ow." Huskii Myeras says, "Bad!" With a trilling chirp, Couturier Silvanos Lunarose, The Gaudigoose says, "Well that's not ideal if they become agressive." Huskii Myeras says, "He's Extra unfriendly!" Huskii huffs and puffs in outrage. Silvanos mutters discontentedly. You follow Huskii Myeras southwest to surrounded by onyx walls and neon blue circuitry. Sciomore, the Logician crosses his arms expectantly. l sciomore Tall in stature and imposing in presence, the Logician appears less a god and more a clockwork automaton brought to full consciousness. Beaten metal wraps around his head like a mask or hood, keeping whatever visage beneath safe from view; the only opportunity to see a single red eye is between one of three lenses of black glass that puncture the mask: though this eye shifts between each of these three intermittently. No mouth, but a mesh of thin wire surrounds the location of his mouth, a whisper of sound erupting from it - breathing, his voice, it is not certain. Across his chest is a breastplate of spinning gears that seem to empower his limbs as both his arms and legs are riveted with metal joints. Tubes of neon light jut out from his neck and pierce his shoulders, feeding the rest of his body with an indeterminable energy source. Despite this mechanical embodiment, Sciomore finds himself wrapped in a longcoat of black sheep's wool: the back of which is embroidered with a complex map of the planes. Sciomore, the Logician does not even register your presence as a threat. Reaching into a small compartment in the Godly Belt of Unthinkable Infinities, Zagreus pulls out a small cactus bomb and lights it. He tosses it at Sciomore, the Logician's feet, and a cloud of sweet, sparkling smoke wafts up from the device. The smoke calms Sciomore, the Logician, who ceases attacking. "Shh!" says Zagreus, putting a finger to his lips. Qoivhae greets Sciomore, the Logician with a sincere smile. Sciomore, the Logician exclaims, "Impossible! I built the Narcoponatrix so this would never happen!" Sciomore, the Logician focuses His lens on each of you. "Very well. What do you require?" Surrounded by onyx walls and neon blue circuitry. Black as night and glossy as the stars, the onyx-hewn walls of the Logician's chapel soar endlessly upward into a darkness so infinite and impenetrable that they seem to extend into the furthest reaches of aetherspace. Branching at some intervals and merging at others, complex webs of circuitry travel in precise mathematical, sharply-angled paths along the stone walls, the energy-saturated lines glowing with a neon blue luminescence and occasionally sparking with bright, briefly-blinding flickers of loosed electricity. At the centre of it all, floating several metres high above the floor, is a giant, metallic sphere with the appearance of platinum. The surface of this odd contraption is mirrored, reflecting everything as warped, distorted images of themselves. A low- pitched hum pervades the atmosphere, and faint vibrations can be felt underfoot. Flickering neon energy radiates from Sciomore, the Logician, who stands here imperiously. Fanning out an impressive frill of burgeoning begonias, a flourishing vinestalker twitches narrow, tufted stems of spiky asphodel here. Resplendent light rays reflecting and refracting from thousands of brilliant facets, a delicate gem golem glimmers here. With the sound of flapping gills, Magister Qoivhae Vivalde, the Charter of Courses says, "Err." Sciomore, the Logician says, "Silence in the face of my brilliance is logical." Sower Valinea, who meddles too much says, "So, who are you, Sciomore? Some kind of... some kind of what?" The enchanting and fluid voice of Ferelith resounds within your mind, "Last time I was here he was a bit more violent." Einke gives Valinea the once-over, eyeing them suspiciously. Your soft voice reaches out to Disciple of the Tah'vrai, Ferelith D'Cente, tickling her ear, "He seems to have calmed." Sower Valinea, who meddles too much says, "I don't know much about y'all so-called Lords of Nirvana or whatever but..." Sugary Savant Tikki, Chair of Hallifax says, "Tidings, Logician. I see that this Pact is serving you well I take it? I must admit it has me quite curious from whence it sprang." A bright light emanates from the Citadel of Nirvana as Supreme Creator Aelish comes down. Steam emitting from his tubes, Sciomore, the Logician says, "What is it you require, mortals? Have you come to serve?" Aelish, the Creator shouts, "Who comes here to pry the path to the Citadel? What are you doing here?" Sciomore, the Logician says, "Have you nothing to say?" Aelish, the Creator shouts, "Who goes here? I shall cast you out if you do not answer immediately." Esei smiles - a thin, unfriendly thing. "We do not serve falsities, I'm afraid. Much like your... Pact." Disciple of the Tah'vrai, Ferelith D'Cente echoes, "I am here." ((Separated from group, may have missed conversation. )) You shout, "Our delegation has been received already by Sciomore the Logician." Aelish, the Creator shouts, "Why are you speaking with Sciomore?" Sciomore, the Logician ponders for a moment before responding. "It is so. Some fear My logical approach." Sower Valinea, who meddles too much shouts, "Wouldn't you like to know?" You shout, "Is it not only logical?" You see Sciomore, the Logician shout, "I know who I serve, and who should serve me, Hooded One." You have emoted: Hands tucked into her sleeves, Xiran bows her grey head to Sciomore, the Logician. A pert little nose takes in a delicate whiff of Veldrin's surroundings. Sciomore, the Logician ponders the group before Him for a moment before speaking. "Let us say that there is a Pact of sorts. What do you know of it?" Wyrden Haruspex Esei Shee-Slaugh, of the Ascending Dusk whispers, "We do not come to serve. And we know there is a weak link in your Pact. One which will be its doom, if you do not act to save it." Sciomore, the Logician stares implacably at Esei. Sciomore, the Logician says, "Explain." Sugary Savant Tikki, Chair of Hallifax says, "I am inclined to agree. The Pact serves now, but what of when the threat has passed? They worry so much that we speak with you. And why?" Sciomore, the Logician says, "The others have always feared My power and logic. What is this weak link? Tell me who it is, and I will let you live." Wyrden Haruspex Esei Shee-Slaugh, of the Ascending Dusk whispers, "Is it not illogical to have a Pact at all, considering your storied histories? Who would stand to gain from... lulling you into such a false sense of security?" Without emotion, Sciomore, the Logician says, "Is it Serane?" Tikki ponders for a moment "It would be impudent of us to point fingers into Shadows... Logician." she'd say, emphasizing her words. Leaning forward, dark eyes intent, Wyrden Haruspex Esei Shee-Slaugh, of the Ascending Dusk whispers, "Why would it not be?" Veldrin D'Cente says, "Would be intrested to hear the logic behind it being Serane." Yawning, a dedicated scholar says, "Frivolous, isn't it? The pursuit of beauty or the actualization of it. Why search for something within when there are greater mysteries and promises to be determined beyond." Veldrin stretches languidly. Sciomore, the Logician turns His gaze into the distance, as if focusing upon someone or something far away. "Long has She plagued me, mortals. If She will betray the.." here He pauses, studying each of you in turn, "Pact, as you say, then I must do something about Her." In a sweet, airy voice, Eiselle, Spicy Cinnabun chitters, "Someone who keeps a garden couldn't be all that bad right?" Huskii's mouth turns up as their face breaks into a smile. Sciomore, the Logician says, "Beauty is illogical." Sugary Savant Tikki, Chair of Hallifax says, "It is only logical to act before She has the chance to do the same. A beautiful face can hide treachery only for so long." Sciomore, the Logician squints suspiciously at Tikki. ((Breaking for aside)) ne Just before the Logosphere. An oak sapling clings tenaciously to the ground here. Silken robes swishing about her body, a graceful admirer lingers here with head held high. You see exits leading northeast and southwest. You greet a graceful admirer with a sincere smile. The ghost of a smile passes fleetingly across a graceful admirer's lips as she glances at Xiran. A graceful admirer says, "Nature gifts the world with great beauty, and it is our duty to discover it and allow it to flourish." [1] What are you an admirer of? [2] Would you tell me more about Serane? [3] I'd like to know about Nirvana. [4] What is the Citadel? [5] I'd like to know about your Lady's celestials. [6] Tell me about Sciomore. [7] Tell me about Luella. [8] Please, tell me about the Everlasting's Mirror. You say, "What are you an admirer of?" A graceful admirer gives a trillingly melodic laugh. A graceful admirer says, "Why, all things of nature. There is beauty in everything that is born of the elements; we aspire to help all of nature flourish to its true potential. Including ourselves, of course. We must first make ourselves desirable before we can look elsewhere." You say, "Would you tell me more about Serane?" Brushing aside a stray lock of hair, a graceful admirer says, "The Lady of the Everlasting Beauty teaches us that beauty is finite, but that it does not flourish wholly of its own doing - we must seek our beauty and embrace it to reach our true potential." You say, "I'd like to know about your Lady's celestials." A graceful admirer says, "To possess enough potential to serve Her in the Citadel...ah, there would be no greater blessing." ((Rejoining)) sw Esei nods simply, hands clasped behind their back. "Indeed, you must," they say, soft voice betraying a sympathetic lilt. "Beauty undermines Knowledge, but so too can Knowledge undermine Beauty." Sugary Savant Tikki, Chair of Hallifax says, "Is beauty not merely a mask to hide one's lack of intellect? As You say, Your Lordship, it's illogical." Sciomore, the Logician says to Tikki, "You are of Hallifax, obviously. Once the...Pact...is fulfilled, and I am empowered, I will allow you to serve me." Sciomore, the Logician nods his head at Tikki. Tikki bows respectfully to Sciomore, the Logician. Eiselle delicately cleans their whiskers as they glance askance. Sciomore, the Logician says, "Tell me, mortals. Who has told you of the Pact? Was it indeed Serane, or someone else?" Xiran murmurs from amid the crowd. "How freely these followers of Others roam through your Logosphere. Even admirers of Everlasting Beauty. I wonder why they linger so." Sciomore, the Logician focuses His gaze into the distance. "It seems some mortals are speaking to Aelish. Was it instead He that told you? Or His wife?" Aelish, the Creator shouts, "Sciomore! What are you plotting there? These forces were sent to Us by Panaxra to accomplish the awakening! I should be the only one speaking to them!" Sugary Savant Tikki, Chair of Hallifax says, "Indeed, words can find their way back. Lest we say too much that They may hear, let us just say that Your deductions are astounding." Lip curling up, Wyrden Haruspex Esei Shee-Slaugh, of the Ascending Dusk whispers, "He does seem rather wroth we are speaking with you." You see Sciomore, the Logician shout, "Creator. My most truthful servant, Tikki of Hallifax, tells me instead that Serane has been speaking to them of Our works." Aelish, the Creator shouts, "Serane? You are plotting with Panaxra against Us?" Sugary Savant Tikki, Chair of Hallifax says, "You honour me, Logician." With a wry smile, a graceful admirer says, "Beauty cannot be understood with logic, yet He and His try to do so. They do not understand that some things are felt, are instinct, are natural - not measured." You see Sciomore, the Logician shout, "Be silent, Hooded One. Keep Your words and Your skulking to Yourself." Esei ponders a graceful admirer thoughtfully, looking her up and down. Sciomore, the Logician stares blankly at a graceful admirer. Mellori furrows her brow in thought. Sciomore, the Logician says, "Panaxra's promised power must be Mine. I would not share it with those who would betray us, mortals." You say, "It does not sound like Lord Aelish much inclined to share either." Solemnly, an iron warrior says, "The Lord Creator holds our God's loyalty and thus our own. He knows what is best for Nirvana and we will not balk from doing what needs be done to protect it." Huskii nods their head sagely at an iron warrior. An iron warrior adjusts his bearings. Sciomore, the Logician smirks. You see Sciomore, the Logician shout, "Karagash, what have you to say? Will You join me against Serane?" Aelish, the Creator shouts, "I see through Your game, Serane!" Aelish, the Creator shouts, "The Pact is no more, I declare it so!" Sciomore, the Logician hisses softly, His lense focusing on each of you. "Leave Us. We will deal with Serane." Esei nods. Esei gives Sciomore, the Logician a respectful bow, one hand clasped over their heart. Sugary Savant Tikki, Chair of Hallifax says, "As it should be, Logician." Tikki bows respectfully to Sciomore, the Logician. You lift a hand languidly and send a moonbeam to Valinea. You gently rise into the air and dance along a moonbeam to Valinea. The Pillar of Nirvana. Swirling mists of colour elaborate the opalescent surface of the Pillar of Nirvana, which rises from the top of the hill to scratch against the very vault of the sky. There are 2 flower vassals here. Hand upon the hilt of his katana, an iron warrior patrols the area with predatory efficiency. A fire elemental burns here, riotous red flames twisting in chaotic patterns. Wyrden Haruspex Esei Shee- Slaugh, of the Ascending Dusk floats here, suffusing the air with the sickly- sweet scent of blackthorn blossoms. They wield a dagger of seething shadow in their left hand. Sugary Savant Tikki, Chair of Hallifax with a Blank face stands here, her presence perfuming the air with the warm scent of mouth-watering confections. She wields a delicate crystal staff in her left hand and a mechanical parasol in her right hand. A dramatic harlequin is here, limber and ready for any performance. The shadowy form of a Daughter of the Night stands here, exuding wyrden power from within swirling black robes. You see exits leading northeast, east, southeast, southwest, west, and northwest. p pillar Reaching farther than the eye can see, the Pillar of Nirvana stands upon this hill and stretches into the empty blueness of the sky overhead. Constructed of pearlescent marble, it possesses a nacreous brilliance and translucency that is only occluded by the swathes of misty colour that shift across the stone like the zigzagging lines of a painters brush. Luminescent scrollwork adorns the base of the pillar: gleaming glyphs and silvery symbols incised not by hand, but rather a naturally engraved into the solid stone; the luminescence of the runes is blocked, somewhat, by the enveloping blossoms and verdant mounds that greets the Pillar, which leaves everything cast in a subdued, argent aura. It weighs about 4000 pounds. The Pillar of Nirvana is holding: Nothing. It has the following aliases: pillar. Disciple of the Tah'vrai, Ferelith D'Cente says, "Now to open the way." Disciple of the Tah'vrai, Ferelith D'Cente says, "It involves murder, I believe." A pulse of power spreads across the sky of the Dreamlands in a halo that bursts from the Narcoponatrix and then washes down towards the Dreamlands, removing the spell holding the Pillar blocked. The pointed tips of Tirah's ears twitch to some errant sound. "Oh?" Tirah exclaims quizzically. Devotee of the Tah'vrai, Einke says, "Now what?" Disciple of the Tah'vrai, Ferelith D'Cente says, "Go kill the false Gods." Pyawr, Secret Keeper asks, "Who's taking lead?" Blinking, you say, "The Pillar requires...?" Wyrden Haruspex Esei Shee-Slaugh, of the Ascending Dusk whispers, "Unless the Dark Regent wishes to lend their prowess?" Esei tilts their head and listens intently to Tirah. In a raspy, androgynous voice, K'ahe'mor Tirah Mzithrei, of the Haze-Wreathed Ebon says, "I can gladly." Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade says, "Normally a lot of influencing is required to enter the pillar." Tirah looses a heartfelt rallying call, rallying others to their cause. Ayisdra is drafted into Tirah's Squad. Eiselle is drafted into Tirah's Squad. Pyawr is drafted into Tirah's Squad. Esei is drafted into Tirah's Squad. Tylwyth is drafted into Tirah's Squad. Ferelith is drafted into Tirah's Squad. Mellori is drafted into Tirah's Squad. Esei nods. You say, "Why is there talk of killing then?" Esei clears their throat. Wyrden Haruspex Esei Shee-Slaugh, of the Ascending Dusk whispers, "Apologies, Nimuire means of empowering the Pillar." Esei gestures at the Pillar of Nirvana. Lord Librarian Ayisdra Ysav'rai, the Fractal Concord says, "You don't kill the denizens for the pieces normally." Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade says, "On this side influence denizens and take to the right spots for the Deep Ones." Comprehension flashes across Ferelith's face. Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade says, "Rods spawn when enough are turned in, and put the rods in the pillar." Nascent Mellori, Attendant to the Wyrd says, "I admit I find it odd that we should attack the False Gods. I do not fully understand what we accomplish with it, ultimately." Disciple of the Tah'vrai, Ferelith D'Cente says, "Seduction?" Lord Librarian Ayisdra Ysav'rai, the Fractal Concord says to Ferelith, "Depends which faifthful." Ferelith nods her head emphatically. You say, "One I spoke to earlier was to be empowered. I think it best to inquire." Disciple of the Tah'vrai, Ferelith D'Cente says, "Let's get it going then." With a wistful look on his face, Zagreus touches the Pillar of Nirvana. You reach out and touch the Pillar of Nirvana. The surface of the Pillar of Nirvana lies cool and dormant under your hands. As your hands touch the pillar, you feel slots for six rods. A vision swims into your mind: Masses of followers worshipping at the chapels of their Gods, their collective belief calling forth rods of divine power that energize the Pillar of Nirvana. You have received a quest! Check out QUEST NIRVANA for more information. With the sound of flapping gills, Magister Qoivhae Vivalde, the Charter of Courses says, "I will try to do for Aelish." (Serenwilde): You say, "It seems we influence the followers of the False Gods and lead them to respective shrines to empower the Pillar of Nirvana." (Serenwilde): Huskii says, "Aye. Compliments. Though... Other flattery for the admirers and vassels." Disciple of the Tah'vrai, Ferelith D'Cente echoes, "I am gathering Vassals." Tikki leaves, following Wyrden Haruspex Esei Shee-Slaugh, of the Ascending Dusk. Skeletal white blossoms flower along the flesh of Esei as their body splits apart into a blizzard of blackthorn petals that leave to the east. (Serenwilde): Huskii says, "Shelter." ((Xiran doesn't have Omniscience, checking CTELLS FULL)) History for Serenwilde: 2024/07/08 02:31:23 - Eluisa: Greetings, Wilde. 2024/07/08 02:31:45 - Huskii: Shelter. Your soft voice reaches out to Pilgrim amongst the Cairns, Eluisa Starfall, tickling her ear, "We are within Nirvana. Naesan Sweetfur is at the Aetherplex, and can provide cookies that can be eaten to enter. Currently we influence by various means some followers of False Gods." A broken path through the forest. Here the well-trodden path becomes somewhat mired with brambles and nettles. The savage plants encroach upon the track maliciously, reaching out with barbed tendrils in an attempt to meet one another across the path and render it entirely unusable. A sweet scent hangs in the air, emanating from the berries hidden within the brambles, and providing a slight juxtaposition to the savage foliage. A birch sapling clings tenaciously to the ground here. There are 2 graceful admirers here. An iron warrior is here, sleeping soundly. There are 2 flower vassals here. Silken robes swishing about his body, a graceful admirer lingers here with head held high. His attention lost to the book in hand, a dedicated scholar ambles about in blind pontification. Huskii Myeras stands here, enrobed in an array of swirling, autumnal leaves. You see exits leading north, northeast, southeast, southwest, and northwest. Smoothing back their hair, Huskii outrageously slides up to a flower vassal and blows on the back of her neck. A flower vassal drops down on her knees, worshipping the very ground Huskii walks on! Lips spreading wide into a crazed grin, a flower vassal exclaims, "The Lady of Flowers calls us back to nature! In Her beauty we shall bask! Her great and glorious beauty!" Magister Qoivhae Vivalde, the Charter of Courses yells, "Got the rod for Aelish." Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade yells, "Rods go into the Pillar." Disciple of the Tah'vrai, Ferelith D'Cente echoes, "Got the Rod of Flowers." Magister Qoivhae Vivalde, the Charter of Courses yells, "Rod of Creation in." Disciple of the Tah'vrai, Ferelith D'Cente echoes, "Creation and Flowers in - need the other two." Huskii Myeras yells, "Rod of Beauty." Huskii Myeras yells, "Shadows." ((Xiran gets very lost after influencing a hooded monk and Huskii rescues her.)) You follow Huskii Myeras out to at the mouth of the Grotto of Ebon Secrets. You thank Huskii profusely. You follow Huskii Myeras east to the Pillar of Nirvana. The Pillar of Nirvana. The surrounding forest falls away from this hill, the trees becoming sparser and younger as one ascends. Sculpted from pearly, near-translucent marble, a robust cylindrical column stands steadfast at the very zenith of the hill, underneath the open expanse of sky, free from the arboreal canopy. In the midst of rampant weeds and fragrant wildflowers, the smooth, opal-swirled stone of the Pillar of Nirvana is immaculate, untouched by the elements, unravaged by the inevitable passage of time. Lacking the brazenness of the local flora, fauna seem to shy away from the pillar, never coming near to inspect the column or even to graze upon the lush grasses and flowers. The misty colours that brush across the nacreous veneer of the marble seem to shift and change, like nimbus clouds stirred to liveliness by the wind, images almost rising to the surface, but sinking again into the stone before they may be discerned. The base of the column is graven with a series of silvery glyphs that occasionally light up with a dreamy, argent glow, half-obscured by the mounds of loamy soil and tangled chains of blossoms encircling it. Hands folded beneath her robes, a hooded monk stands in sombre silence. Huskii Myeras stands here, enrobed in an array of swirling, autumnal leaves. A dramatic harlequin is here, limber and ready for any performance. The shadowy form of a Daughter of the Night stands here, exuding wyrden power from within swirling black robes. Skyborne Parvenu Aurian is here. She wields a mechanical cane in her left hand. You see exits leading northeast, east, southeast, southwest, west, and northwest. Huskii puts the Rod of Shadow into the Pillar of Nirvana. As the Rod of Shadow fits neatly within the Pillar of Nirvana, a sheen of power swirls over the surface of the pillar. Huskii Myeras says, "What are we missing?" Huskii tilts their head inquisitively. Esei murmurs softly to themself. Wyrden Haruspex Esei Shee-Slaugh, of the Ascending Dusk whispers, "We've the rods of ... Creation, Shadow, Logic, and... Beauty?" Wyrden Haruspex Esei Shee-Slaugh, of the Ascending Dusk whispers, "Two more, yes?" Disciple of the Tah'vrai, Ferelith D'Cente says, "Flowers too." Esei nods. Huskii Myeras says, "Warriors left." Huskii's ears perk up with a sudden interest. Tikki arrives, following Wyrden Haruspex Esei Shee-Slaugh, of the Ascending Dusk. A flurry of blackthorn petals arrives from the west, thorny vines sprouting within the floral cloud and twining together to form the body of Esei. As the Rod of War fits neatly within the Pillar of Nirvana, a sheen of power swirls over the surface of the pillar. The Pillar of Nirvana thrums with power and emits a blinding glow before shooting a pillar of light high into the Citadel above, piercing directly through its centre. Esei nods. "Ahah!" Ferelith exclaims triumphantly. Zagreus flashes the victory sign. Huskii nods their head emphatically. With a wistful look on her face, Ferelith touches the Pillar of Nirvana. Ferelith dissolves into tiny orbs of light which spiral upward towards the Citadel high above. With a wistful look on his face, Zagreus touches the Pillar of Nirvana. Zagreus dissolves into tiny orbs of light which spiral upward towards the Citadel high above. Huskii Myeras says, "Good." Valinea arrives from the northwest. With a wistful look on their face, Huskii touches the Pillar of Nirvana. Huskii dissolves into tiny orbs of light which spiral upward towards the Citadel high above. You follow Huskii Myeras to a glass-floored plaza. Tiny orbs of light spiral into the Citadel from below which quickly cluster together, depositing Huskii before you. A glass-floored plaza. Tiny points of black and white energy float through the air as they filter out from a shield shrine of Zvoltz nearby. The corrosiveness of the taint sickens the land. Stretching far in all directions, this plaza is the most central point of the Citadel and curiously designed; indeed, where the marble walls flow from ceiling to floor, they are meet by the presence of a crystal-clear pane of glass. Though it sounds like it would crack under the pressure of bodies, this glassy flooring is sturdy and resilient, if a bit too sleek and slippery. But it allows the full presence of Nirvana to be seen: the rising point of the Pillar of Nirvana, placed directly below and appearing more like a white point at the heart; the six chapels, each remarkable in their own right; and the glorious landscape of the Dreamlands. Even a fluff of cloud passes by as it lazily swims through the air, the cottony vapor only adding to the breathtaking view from high above. A glass globe floats here as a dreamy mist swirls lazily within. Her face framed by a sunburst halo, a golden celestial looms with the intensity of a star. A dark celestial hovers here, surrounded by a susurrus of unintelligible words. Inky eyes watchful, an iron celestial patrols the area, trailing the hazy smoke of a battlefield. Hands folded beneath her robes, a hooded monk stands in sombre silence. Resplendent light rays reflecting and refracting from thousands of brilliant facets, a delicate gem golem glimmers here. Impeccably dressed for adventure, a gentleman scientist of refined bearing is poised nearby, his diabolical inventions at the ready for casual violence. Eiselle, Spicy Cinnabun with a Nymph face stands here, her presence perfuming the air with the warm scent of mouth-watering confections. She wields a pink cotton candy mace in her left hand and a fiery basalt staff in her right hand. Sower Valinea, who meddles too much is here. They wield a leaf-life metallic shofa in each hand. Huskii Myeras stands here, enrobed in an array of swirling, autumnal leaves. Wyrden Haruspex Esei Shee- Slaugh, of the Ascending Dusk floats here, suffusing the air with the sickly- sweet scent of blackthorn blossoms. They wield a dagger of seething shadow in their left hand. The shadowy form of a Daughter of the Night stands here, exuding wyrden power from within swirling black robes. You see exits leading north, northeast, east, southeast, south, southwest, west, and northwest. Disciple of the Tah'vrai, Ferelith D'Cente asks, "Group up then to confront them?" Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade says, "Two more steps before we can confont the Fake Gods under normal circumstances." Ferelith tilts her head and listens intently to Zagreus. Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade says, "Unless we have a shortcut somehow.." Huskii Myeras says, "The... Uhh, pillars need to be weakened, right?" Disciple of the Tah'vrai, Ferelith D'Cente asks Zagreus, "What's the next step?" Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade says, "Kill celestials and put in opposing side thing, then solve the narcoponatrix." A golden celestial says, "We were but a spark and He drew us close, fashioning in His own image. Glorious are we, and He, as the Light of His radiance shines forth." A dark celestial says, "The celestials are those blessed by the Hooded One to serve Her here in the Citadel. We reach out from Her shadows to place events on the course which serves Her best." With the quickness of route memory and lightning, an austere celestial says, "WearethecelestialsoftheLogician, wewerechosenbecauseweprovedandactualisedtheLogician'sAxiom. Realityismalleable. Wechangedreality." The acrid smell of smoke fills the air as an iron celestial marches in from the southwest. Huskii nods their head emphatically. Ferelith points accusingly at a golden celestial. A golden celestial turns her blinding, roseate eyes to Ferelith and smiles warmly. Disciple of the Tah'vrai, Ferelith D'Cente asks, "Those?" ((Hunting crit spam; gathering Yuli and Eluisa)) You say, "I think Yuli about somewhere." Huskii Myeras says, "You want to grab her?" Your soft voice reaches out to Yuli Re'Leo, tickling her ear, "May I summon you?" The melodious voice of Yuli resonates in your mind, "Sure.." You violently grab some strands of aether and whip them out towards Yuli. You curtsey gracefully before Yuli. (Serenwilde): You say, "Currently the instruction is to kill the celestial guardians." (Serenwilde): Yuli says, "Um." A wry smile spreads across your face. You say, "Not those of Celest. There are celestials of each False God." (Serenwilde): You say, "Folk are working together to take down the Narcoponatrix. This is to allow us to confront the False Gods on more favourable terms." Melodious like the sweet music of birdsong, Luella, the Lady of Flowers echoes, "The time of your creation is at an end, Aelish. Soon, nature will reign supreme!" The sands of the dreaming suddenly lift you up and send you sailing out of the dreamrealm. You traverse the boundary between reality and dreams. Forest alongside Moon River. The area is bathed with silver light as a robust defensive aura suffuses the air due to a shield shrine of Lisaera nearby. Silvery moonlight sparkles in the air. Thick hedgerows surround this part of the forest, leaving only a discrete trail that runs parallel to the river beyond. Thin pine trees stretch above the lower bushes, leaving only a few shards of light to dangle through the thick foliage. The sound of the flowing river mixes with birdsong to fill the air with nature's sweet melody. A clump of golden, four-leaf clovers sway in the breeze here. There is a campfire here, roaring merrily. Eddies of frost swirl around the graceful form of a huge snow phoenix with icy wings. Resplendent light rays reflecting and refracting from thousands of brilliant facets, a delicate gem golem glimmers here. Eluisa has a look of comprehension here. She wields a luminous hammer of Mother Moon in her left hand and a dazzling petal shield in her right hand. Silver Regent Xiran Stormcrow is here, sound asleep. She is surrounded by a deflection bubble. Yuli Re'Leo is here asleep, fading out of reality and surrounded by rainbows. She wields a resin-stained saffron and black viola in her left hand. You see exits leading northeast and southwest. You open your eyes and yawn mightily. Eluisa pats you in a friendly manner. You say to Eluisa, "Apologies for the one-sided communication." Pilgrim amongst the Cairns, Eluisa Starfall says, "What disturbed your cat-nap?" Eluisa shakes her head. You say to Galaphyrae, "Thank you for watching over us." Pilgrim amongst the Cairns, Eluisa Starfall says, "I'm preparing myself." You say to Eluisa, "I wanted to make sure you were alright." Eluisa's mouth turns up as her face breaks into a smile. Pilgrim amongst the Cairns, Eluisa Starfall says, "I'm well! Just recovering from meditations and such." You say, "I shall go visit Naesan and return." (Coven): Galaphyrae says, "Dark celestials go to the iron pillar. Efflorescent to the one for beauty. Golden to flowers. Iron to creation. Graceful to logic. And austere to shadow." Pilgrim amongst the Cairns, Eluisa Starfall says, "I suppose I don't quite understand wholly what's going on." Eluisa nods her head emphatically. Pilgrim amongst the Cairns, Eluisa Starfall says, "But I think I'll catch up." (Coven): You say, "Ooh." (Coven): Galaphyrae says, "I am not certain if this transcends the Dreamrealm." Sower Valinea, who meddles too much shouts, "Put the celestials in the pillars." You hug Eluisa compassionately. You say to Naesan Sweetfur, "Greetings, May I request a second packet of cookies please?" Naesan Sweetfur points accusingly at a glistening platter of rose-shaped potatoes. The Aetherplex Chamber. The spherical chamber is formed from a hollow geode comprised of dozens of precious gemstones. Large jagged formations of rubies, sapphires, diamonds and emeralds line the walls and ceiling. The floor has been cut and polished to a brilliant shine, revealing concentric circles of brilliant colours. Upon close examination of the glassy floor, shimmering reflections briefly glide across its smooth surface of wondrous mansions and abodes. A current of electricity continuously runs throughout this mineral wonder, causing tiny sparks to erratically blossom up and down the crystalline formations. Shimmering with aetheric energy, a bright glowing portal floats here in midair. An orderly poster of invitation has been displayed here, bearing an accredited seal. Spattered with bits of moss, a poster has been displayed here. With a commanding presence, Nimuire Duskbloom observes her surroundings. An enthralling archdemon wearing an infernal bone mask prowls nearby, exuding an insidious aura of tempting iniquity. There are 11 glistening platters of rose-shaped potatoes here. A platter of pork ribs slathered in tangy sauce steams gently. In the shape of an open palm, a metallic sigil lies here. Naesan Sweetfur slouches here, his hands cuffed in front of him. You see a sign here instructing you to use the PORTAL command to enter the aetherplex system. There is an aetherways portal here. You see exits leading north (open door), south, out, and through a bright, glowing portal. Comprehension flashes across your face. Naesan Sweetfur exclaims, "I've left a few for anyone to take!" Naesan Sweetfur beams broadly at you. Sower Valinea, who meddles too much shouts, "Attempt to wake and re-enter Nirvana?" You give a trillingly melodic laugh. You say, "Many thanks." You pick up a glistening platter of rose-shaped potatoes. Naesan Sweetfur exclaims, "Good luck!" Each of the twice-cooked potatoes placed carefully on this platter have been intricately carved into the shape of a rose. Made by a single slice, the petal-like folds of the potato spiral out and have curled into impressively realistic shapes. Their golden surface darkens at the tips, and glisten with a liberal application of melted butter. The potatoes have been arranged neatly upon a layer of raw baby spinach, sliced tomatoes and lightly grilled slices of cheese thick enough to have retained their shape. It has 21 months of usefulness left. It weighs about 1 pounds and 14 ounce(s). It has a trade valuation of worthless. It bears the distinctive mark of Sugary Savant Tikki, Chair of Hallifax. It has the following aliases: platter. You put your nose over a glistening platter of rose-shaped potatoes and inhale. Bringing the platter to your nose, you inhale the rich aroma of garlic butter and the savoury scent of fried potato. You curtsey gracefully before Naesan Sweetfur. Naesan Sweetfur bows respectfully to you. You have emoted: Xiran circles about Naesan Sweetfur thrice, trailing magical salt. Naesan Sweetfur tells you, "Thank you!" You shed demigoddess form and flow as a spirit through the verdant leaves, embracing the physical once more and arrive at forest alongside Moon River. Forest alongside Moon River. You traverse the boundary between reality and dreams. Your soft voice reaches out to Yuli Re'Leo, tickling her ear, "May I teleport?" The melodious voice of Yuli resonates in your mind, "Yeah." You tug upon the aether strands around you, searching for one that connects to Yuli. You have recovered equilibrium. You teleport along the aether strands to Yuli. Tranquil views of impossible dreamscapes. Tiny points of black and white energy float through the air as they filter out from a shield shrine of Zvoltz nearby. Your soft voice reaches out to Pilgrim amongst the Cairns, Eluisa Starfall, tickling her ear, "Feel free to teleport to me. We seek a final celestial. I apologise for missing your aethertells earlier. Aye the platter serves instead. It seems Naesan prepared a variety of foods capable of sending us into Nirvana." ((Oop! Last celestial placed.)) A mechanical whirring fills the air as Sciomore, the Logician intones, "Beauty is useless, Serane. I will bring you down so that the Circle may advance without the weight of your foolish ideas." Full scale battle breaks out between the Circle of the Deep, their divine figures burning in the sky above the Dreamlands as power and devastation erupt around them. Within the Dreamlands themselves, the sound of fighting breaks out among the Circle's followers. Reverberating in a headache inducing way, a cold, logical voice announces, 'NARCOPONATRIX FAILSAFE MEASURES ACTIVATED. RESTRICTED, NON-AETHERIC ACCESS GRANTED. CONSULT THE FALLBACK MANUAL FOR FURTHER INSTRUCTION.' You feel a slight tug within your chest and the air around you sparkles with motes of bright light. Among the sparkling motes of light, a translucent figure appears in the air and then quickly solidifies as Eluisa comes into view. Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade yells, "Plinth time." Eluisa nods her head emphatically. Her beautiful face marred by a look of utter loathing, Serane blasts the Lady of Flowers with indigo fire. You lift a hand languidly and send a moonbeam to Huskii. Huskii's attack passes through the shield of a chosen one, the protective sphere dissolving into thin air. Snapping a cold snap whip back and forth, Huskii lashes out at a chosen one, leaving trails of broken and frost-bruised skin upon her body. Huskii has scored a CRUSHING CRITICAL hit. The final blow proves too much for a chosen one, who expires, pitifully. A chosen one has been slain by Huskii. Dream energy pours from a chosen one, coalescing into an iridescent dream crystal. A ball of flaming tar catches the corpse of a chosen one in a stream of fire and draws it up into Huskii's hands. ((Huskii picks up a ton of iridescent dream crystals left behind by others.)) Magister Qoivhae Vivalde, the Charter of Courses yells, "Got some crystals." You see Huskii Myeras yell, "Remember your crystals!" Huskii flails about helplessly. Huskii picks up an iridescent dream crystal. You peer about yourself unscrupulously. Huskii Myeras says, "So many!" You follow Huskii Myeras southeast to beneath canopied shadows. You say, "Silly folk." ((Search and sweep.)) Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade yells, "All done turn them in." Huskii Myeras says, "Looking good!" With a wistful look on their face, Huskii touches the Pillar of Nirvana. Huskii dissolves into tiny orbs of light which spiral upward towards the Citadel high above. You follow Huskii Myeras to a glass-floored plaza. Tiny orbs of light spiral into the Citadel from below which quickly cluster together, depositing Huskii before you. Tiny orbs of light spiral into the Citadel from below which quickly cluster together, depositing Zagreus before you. You follow Huskii Myeras southwest to the Narcoponatrix's entrance. You follow Huskii Myeras to tranquil views of impossible dreamscapes. Huskii ponders the situation. Emanating from the plinth, a cold, logical voice announces, 'Authorized crystal deposited. Initiating retention protocol. Further ninety-two iridescent dream crystals required for complete failsafe measure.' ((Further turn-ins.)) Emanating from the plinth, a cold, logical voice announces, 'Authorized crystal deposited. Initiating retention protocol. Further 75 dream crystals required. Vending fallback instruction manual now.' With a thump, a manual falls out of one of the slots at a dream crystal plinth's base. ((...)) Emanating from the plinth, a cold, logical voice announces, 'Authorized crystal deposited. Emanating from the plinth, a cold, logical voice announces, 'Authorized crystal deposited. Initiating retention protocol. Pilgrim amongst the Cairns, Eluisa Starfall says, "They had another." Pilgrim amongst the Cairns, Eluisa Starfall says, "Ebasky?" Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade says, "No, ignore that." Eluisa nods her head emphatically. Huskii nods their head emphatically. Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade says, "It's on the plinth." Lord Librarian Ayisdra Ysav'rai, the Fractal Concord says, "They increased the crystals from what I remember." Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade says, "Either people didn't turn them in, or we have to wait for the things to return." Huskii nods their head sagely. Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade yells, "Sciomore is here, we may not need to solve that." Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade yells, "Southeast corner." You follow Huskii Myeras southeast to standing before the Pillar of Logic. A series of bleeps and creaks are emitted from the Logician's chestplate as he turns to survey Eluisa. His single glowing eye jumps between its lenses, and only when he has fully assessed her does he strike: with an unnaturally fast punch to the weakest spot in Eluisa's side. Lightning crackles around the wound in his wake. Huskii flails about helplessly. With a single fell swoop of his metallic limbs, the Logician strikes at Eluisa's leg, causing it to snap. The blow is timed and angled with such precision that the bone immediately juts out, spilling blood everywhere. You follow Huskii Myeras northwest to causeway following neon writing. Zagreus sips lucidity slush from a steel vial. Eluisa enters from the southeast, emanating an aura of immense power. Huskii Myeras says, "Just punch him?" Zagreus looses a quiet "Hrmm...", tugging gently on his salt and pepper scruff beard as he ponders for answers. Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade says, "Not normally how this goes.." Huskii Myeras says, "Been a while since I hunted here last..." Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade says, "What was the plan anyway Fellowship peoples." Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade says, "They broke the Pact, then what." Huskii shrugs helplessly. Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade says, "Flouder around until someone suggests an idea." Huskii Myeras says, "I think we're done... They're no longer conspiring to rouse Sun, as they are in discord." Sower Valinea, who meddles too much shouts, "There's more of their followers down here!" Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade says, "Or we could just kill them all so they don't change their mind and re-pact." Einke nods his head at Zagreus. Huskii Myeras whispers, "I like that idea." The corners of Huskii's mouth turn up as they grin mischievously. With a deep bellow, Karagash brings his colossal two-pronged sword down into the body of the Hooded One. Devotee of the Tah'vrai, Einke says to Zagreus, "Probably won't agree with you often in my life." Devotee of the Tah'vrai, Einke says, "But this time, I do." Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade says, "So we need to finish the Narco puzzle, normally..." Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade says, "Can try killing Sciomore since here, too." Huskii Myeras says, "Sounds like there's more dream crystals." Pyawr tilts back his head and inhales deeply while twitching a wolf's snout. Zagreus looses a quiet "Hrmm...", tugging gently on his salt and pepper scruff beard as he ponders for answers. ((Einke, Esei, Huskii, Tikki, and Zagreus fight Sciomore. )) A series of bleeps and creaks are emitted from the Logician's chestplate as he turns to survey Einke. His single glowing eye jumps between its lenses, and only when he has fully assessed him does he strike: with an unnaturally fast punch to the weakest spot in Einke's side. Lightning crackles around the wound in his wake. The Logician's single red eye flares into view behind the centre lens of his mask, locking onto Huskii. Light builds within the black glass until it blazes out towards them, a laser bolt darting out to sear their body. Einke has scored a CRUSHING CRITICAL hit. Sciomore, the Logician has met their end in the deadly web of a mechanical spider. Sciomore, the Logician has been slain by Einke. A king's ransom of golden sovereigns spills from the corpse. Einke's eyes glint as he reaches down and collects the gold. Einke suddenly scoops up the corpse of Sciomore, the Logician. Einke flexes his muscles in an impressive display of strength. Eluisa enters from the northwest, emanating an aura of immense power. You follow Huskii Myeras southwest to a glass-floored plaza. With a wistful look on their face, Huskii touches a globe of shifting dreams. Huskii dissolves into tiny orbs of light which spiral downward toward the dreamlands far below. You follow Huskii Myeras to the Pillar of Nirvana. Tiny orbs of light spiral downward from the sky which quickly cluster together, depositing Huskii before you. ((Huskii resumes hunt for crystals.)) A flower vassal plucks an anemone from her hair and twirls it betwixt her fingertips. You barely have a moment to consider the pale flower before she has waved it in the direction of Huskii, who clutches their abdomen and stumbles as if suddenly unwell. You follow Huskii Myeras northeast to shivering, illuminated pools. An iron warrior delivers a dangerously-deep cut to Huskii's arm, slicing it wide open. (Serenwilde): You say, "Sorry if someone was trying to moonbeam earlier." Eluisa tells you, "Shall never forgive you!" Eluisa enters from the west, emanating an aura of immense power. Eluisa begins to follow you. Eluisa grabs protectively at you. You hug Eluisa compassionately. You feel a slight tug within your chest and the air around you sparkles with motes of bright light. Huskii enters from the east, emanating an aura of immense power. Power crackles around Sciomore as a beam of energy shoots out from his eye, tearing into the Everlasting Beauty. Valinea arrives from the northwest. With a wistful look on their face, Huskii touches the Pillar of Nirvana. Huskii dissolves into tiny orbs of light which spiral upward towards the Citadel high above. You say, "The fighting is a bit beyond me to keep up with." You feel a slight tug within your chest and the air around you sparkles with motes of bright light. With a wistful look on their face, Valinea touches the Pillar of Nirvana. Valinea dissolves into tiny orbs of light which spiral upward towards the Citadel high above. With a wistful look on his face, Zagreus touches the Pillar of Nirvana. Zagreus dissolves into tiny orbs of light which spiral upward towards the Citadel high above. Eluisa nods her head emphatically. Pilgrim amongst the Cairns, Eluisa Starfall says, "I feel a bit in over my head from arriving so late." You say, "At least we served as a teleport point." You reach out and touch the Pillar of Nirvana. You dissolve into tiny orbs of light, spiralling steadily upward until you reform once more within the Citadel. Eluisa follows you ether to a glass-floored plaza. Eluisa nods her head emphatically. You lift a hand languidly and send a moonbeam to Valinea. You gently rise into the air and dance along a moonbeam to Valinea. Eluisa follows you east. Valinea strides through the gateway of light, disappearing from sight without even a flash. Tranquil views of impossible dreamscapes. Tiny points of black and white energy float through the air as they filter out from a shield shrine of Zvoltz nearby. A whole wall of this huge chamber is given over to a magnificent window: from floor to ceiling, it is made of a single pane of glass so perfectly clean that looking through it one almost forgets that it is there. The marble walls of the room seem bland and unimportant in comparison to the view thus granted - for what can be seen is literally incredible. Colours, smoke, bursts of light; all possible things swirl and intertwine within the dreamscape beyond. Whether truly what lies beyond this place, or simply a creation of some aesthetic magic, there is no doubt that it is beautiful beyond compare. Beyond, the marble and gold construction of the Narcoponatrix floats: energy issuing forth from the grand machine as it empowers the Citadel. A small hollow atop the iridescent dream crystal plinth ends in a slot, small scratches about it showing past use. Creating gleaming reflections on the glass and marble, a gateway of light rises up from the floor. Flickering with silver light, a slim black manual lies on the ground here. Resplendent light rays reflecting and refracting from thousands of brilliant facets, a delicate gem golem glimmers here. Pilgrim amongst the Cairns, Eluisa Starfall is here. She wields a luminous hammer of Mother Moon in her left hand and a dazzling petal shield in her right hand. Swirling clouds of purest white meld to outline the ghostly figure of a stormy air elemental here. A golden oak tree depicted on his armour, a fae knight stands here, proud and shining. A baleful crow perches here, crimson eyes piercing in their glare. The shadowy form of a Daughter of the Night stands here, exuding wyrden power from within swirling black robes. You see exits leading north, south, west, and through a gateway of light. The prickling on the back of your neck dissipates as Einke departs to the west. Blinking as though they have something in their eye, Valinea enters from the doorway of light. You look through a gateway of light: The Narcoponatrix's entrance. Creating a shell around the chamber, grey fog churns violently as small bouts of thunderless lightning provide illumination. Blocking not only the light of the world outside the chamber, the fog seemingly blocks all the sounds as well, the only noise a soft, faint rumbling. Acting as the floor, glass panels suspended from golden threads run around the inside perimeter, the only termination to the west where a door of light leads back to the Citadel. Creating gleaming reflections on the glass and marble, a gateway of light rises up from the floor. Stretching out over the chasm, a bridge of crystalline platforms and golden threads stretches from one end of the chasm to the small marble platform suspended near the other end. You see exits leading northeast, southeast, and through a gateway of light. Her beautiful face marred by a look of utter loathing, Serane blasts the Lady of Flowers with indigo fire. Lerna, the nine-headed hydra leaps into the air in front of Zagreus, deflecting the attack. You say, "Sorry, did the group separate?" You scent at the air, your skilled nose picking up the faint traces of others in the surrounding area. Eluisa tilts her head curiously. Pilgrim amongst the Cairns, Eluisa Starfall says, "Group?" Huskii enters from the west, emanating an aura of immense power. Emanating from the plinth, a cold, logical voice announces, 'Authorized crystal deposited. Initiating retention protocol. Further thirteen iridescent dream crystals required for complete failsafe measure.' Valinea ponders the situation. Esei sways back and forth. You say, "I do not know if there is a squad, but since we are in coven with Fair Galaphyrae, I am not sure we could be in both." Comprehension flashes across Eluisa's face. With great elegance, Sugary Savant Tikki, Chair of Hallifax lays out a spread of exotic cuisine and delicacies before you. Along with everyone else, you indulge yourself in this epicurian feast, eating and drinking until utterly satiated. The fine meal not only lifts your spirits, but enhances your body as well. Devotee of the Tah'vrai, Einke says, "Looks clear down there." You say, "So I refer to the general ah... delegation for Panaxra here as a our group." Esei nods at you. Disciple of the Tah'vrai, Ferelith D'Cente yells, "Well I figured out the bridge to some degree.. once we have enough words." Valinea puts an iridescent dream crystal into a dream crystal plinth. Emanating from the plinth, a cold, logical voice announces, 'Authorized crystal deposited. Initiating retention protocol. Further twelve iridescent dream crystals required for complete failsafe measure.' Wyrden Haruspex Esei Shee-Slaugh, of the Ascending Dusk whispers, "Many were following me for a time, but we were separated in all of the... slaughter." Esei smiles softly. You say, "And I suppose if there were a formal squad there'd be less shouting." Wyrden Haruspex Esei Shee-Slaugh, of the Ascending Dusk whispers, "Havens forbid we've a squad." The glowing form of Aelish sends a lance of holy light streaming into the body of the Iron God. Huskii narrowly sidesteps the attack, careful to hold onto a candy striped top hat for dear life lest it fly away in the ruckus. Wyrden Haruspex Esei Shee-Slaugh, of the Ascending Dusk whispers, "Why, that sounds like Sciomore's suggestion." Esei peers at you unscrupulously. Disciple of the Tah'vrai, Ferelith D'Cente says, "Two platforms lowered now." Eluisa tells you, "Those blasts they send at each other splash onto us a bit?" Your soft voice reaches out to Pilgrim amongst the Cairns, Eluisa Starfall, tickling her ear, "I am uncertain. I have yet to be struck. But I do not want to test that. Did Sciomore attack you earlier?" ((I misunderstood. Yes, the attacks of the false gods against each other do some damage to us.)) Eluisa tells you, "Apologies, lost track of it in all of the noisiness." Eluisa tells you, "Only small hits, and I see some people block hits with their beasts, peppermint, and such." Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade says, "Getting close." Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade says, "Once we get the last password, we use all three to lower the platforms so someone can walk across to the finish." Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade says, "Passwords used on perimeter." Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade says, "LOOK BRIDGE to see status." Sower Valinea, who meddles too much says, "Once we get the third word, I suggest we send only one person, one person who is good at this kind of puzzle, in to use the passwords." Huskii Myeras says, "We need to set the bridges to grant enterance to the center of the tower." The glowing form of Aelish sends a lance of holy light streaming into the body of the Iron God. Sower Valinea, who meddles too much says, "You need to find the correct location to use each of the 3 words." Wyrden Haruspex Esei Shee-Slaugh, of the Ascending Dusk whispers, "All three, or three locations, one for each word?" Sower Valinea, who meddles too much says, "There's 13 locations, which gives a total of... a lot of combinations." Sower Valinea, who meddles too much says, "One per pass." Disciple of the Tah'vrai, Ferelith D'Cente says, "The words are codes - you speak them at specific locations to shift the platforms." Sower Valinea, who meddles too much says, "If you say the pass again, at any location, it negates the previous effect." A look of understanding crossing their features, Esei nods their head slowly. Disciple of the Tah'vrai, Ferelith D'Cente says, "Say them correctly and all the platforms are lowered at the same time." Sower Valinea, who meddles too much says, "I can probably figure it out, if you want me to go in." Esei murmurs softly to themself. Tylwyth picks up the NARCOPONATRIX FAILSAFE MANUAL. Disciple of the Tah'vrai, Ferelith D'Cente says, "I managed three platforms with two words." Esei frowns at Tylwyth. Disciple of the Tah'vrai, Ferelith D'Cente says, "If we got a third we could probably get to the end." Sugary Savant Tikki, Chair of Hallifax says to Tylwyth, "When you're finished, place it back down that others may read it as well." Softly, Darach Tylwyth Nightshade, Keeper of the Blacknest says, "Where didi the manual go." Softly, Darach Tylwyth Nightshade, Keeper of the Blacknest says, "Oh I have it." Tirah stares implacably at Tylwyth. Einke utters a deep, rumbling laugh. Wyrden Haruspex Esei Shee-Slaugh, of the Ascending Dusk whispers, "Aye. You did indeed pick it up, Darach." Softly, Darach Tylwyth Nightshade, Keeper of the Blacknest says, "Sorry." Esei glances askance. In a raspy, androgynous voice, K'ahe'mor Tirah Mzithrei, of the Haze-Wreathed Ebon says, "Put it down, yes?" Softly, Darach Tylwyth Nightshade, Keeper of the Blacknest says, "Yes." Tylwyth drops the NARCOPONATRIX FAILSAFE MANUAL. Softly, Darach Tylwyth Nightshade, Keeper of the Blacknest says, "Sorry." In a raspy, androgynous voice, K'ahe'mor Tirah Mzithrei, of the Haze-Wreathed Ebon says, "Good, good." Valinea puts an iridescent dream crystal into a dream crystal plinth. Emanating from the plinth, a cold, logical voice announces, 'Authorized crystal deposited. Initiating retention protocol. Further eight iridescent dream crystals required for complete failsafe measure.' At the call of Luella, savage vines reach up from the forest of the Dreamlands, slamming into the Creator. You see Sower Valinea, who meddles too much shout, "Eight left!" Huskii puts iridescent dream crystals into a dream crystal plinth. Emanating from the plinth, a cold, logical voice announces, 'Authorized crystal deposited. Initiating retention protocol. Further seven... six... five iridescent dream crystals required for complete failsafe measure.' "Ok!" Zagreus exclaims. With a plink, an iridescent dream crystal falls out of one of the slots at a dream crystal plinth's base. Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade says, "We got it." Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade yells, "Solve the Narcoponatrix time." Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade yells, "Keep toggling them please, we're making progress." Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade yells, "Say the three passwords in different locations." Disciple of the Tah'vrai, Ferelith D'Cente yells, "Each word causes a platform or more to move into one of three positions." Disciple of the Tah'vrai, Ferelith D'Cente yells, "Say a word, then look at the bridge to see the change. Say various words to see them shift." Reverberating in a headache inducing way, a cold, logical voice announces, 'NARCOPONATRIX FAILSAFE MEASURES DEACTIVATED. ALL ACCESS TERMINATED. COMMENCING PURGE OF ENTITIES WITHIN NARCOPONATRIX IN ONE MINUTE. EVACUATION IS ENCOURAGED.' Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade yells, "We did it!" Devotee of the Tah'vrai, Einke says, "That seems bad." Eluisa peers about herself unscrupulously. A pulse of power spreads across the sky of the Dreamlands in a halo that bursts from the Narcoponatrix, striking the embattled gods. As the power flickers out around them, their mortal forms plummet downward into the Citadel. (The Serenade): You say, "The entity the dreamweavers and sleepers before the mirror at the pilgrims camp (which you helped empower) met was Panaxra. They are theorised to be a lesser Soulless that avoids Muud, hence previous conversations have been held in Balach to avoid them overhearing. People were pretending to support Panaxra and thus there's some careful talk to avoid giving up the ruse in the Dreaming where they hold sway." Frai, the Hooded One shouts, "I knew we couldn't trust Sciomore with this!" Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade yells, "Time to kill the gods!" Luella, the Lady of Flowers shouts, "Aelish, you fool! This is your fault!" "Uhh..." stalls Tirah. Sciomore, the Logician shouts, "My Narcoponatrix! Noooooo!" Serane, the Everlasting Beauty shouts, "My beauty! My beauty! Argh!" Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade yells, "Follow me to kill." Tikki arrives, following Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade. Zagreus makes a beckoning motion to no-one in particular. Tirah leaves, following Wyrden Haruspex Esei Shee-Slaugh, of the Ascending Dusk. Einke leaves, following Wyrden Haruspex Esei Shee-Slaugh, of the Ascending Dusk. Skeletal white blossoms flower along the flesh of Esei as their body splits apart into a blizzard of blackthorn petals that leave to the west. You begin to follow Zagreus. The following players are in your entourage: Pilgrim amongst the Cairns, Eluisa Starfall Zagreus is the leader of your group. Members of your group include: Ayisdra Pyawr Eluisa Tikki There are 6 people in your group. You follow Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade southeast to standing before the Pillar of Logic. With a single fell swoop of his metallic limbs, the Logician strikes at Zagreus's leg, causing it to snap. The blow is timed and angled with such precision that the bone immediately juts out, spilling blood everywhere. "Oh?" Eluisa exclaims quizzically. Zagreus has scored a CRUSHING CRITICAL hit. You see Sciomore, the Logician yell, "Serane, if you weren't so vainly obsessed with yourself, this could have been avoided!" ((Eluisa, Tikki, and Zagreus attack Sciomore, later joined by Pyawr.)) Sciomore, the Logician has been slain by Zagreus. Shattering abruptly, the neon-blue energies powering the Logician's mechanical figure break free from containment and radiate outwards, dissipating into motes of lackluster power. The former God collapses, His machinery no longer maintainable. Bright white light flares from a globe of shifting dreams in the center of the Citadel. Many golden sovereigns spill from the corpse. Zagreus's eyes glint as he reaches down and collects the gold. Zagreus suddenly scoops up the corpse of Sciomore, the Logician. Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade says, "Need to hit all six for honors, by the by." You follow Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade south to before the Pillar of Flowers. ((Huskii joins. The false gods have room-wide attacks. Reduced combat spam.)) Bringing her hands to her lips, Luella blows over her palms and sends a cascade of pale yellow petals washing over you. "Marigolds," she hisses coldly, eyes narrowed, "for pain." You see Luella, the Lady of Flowers yell, "Aelish! This is your fault! You should have never wanted mortal followers! All we need is nature!" Huskii has scored a CRUSHING CRITICAL hit. Luella, the Lady of Flowers has been slain by Huskii. Deep crimson stains erupt within Luella's bodice, splaying out like death's fingertips as she collapses to the ground. A flare of anger mars her perfect features, morphing into a confused frown as the last breath parts her lips. Bright white light flares from a globe of shifting dreams in the center of the Citadel. A king's ransom of golden sovereigns spills from the corpse. Huskii's eyes glint as they reach down and collect the gold. A ball of flaming tar catches the corpse of Luella, the Lady of Flowers in a stream of fire and draws it up into Huskii's hands. "Ok!" Zagreus exclaims. You follow Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade southwest to before the Pillar of Iron. Karagash, the Iron God grabs Ayisdra by the throat with a massive hand and lifts him effortlessly off the ground. "Do not resist the inevitable," the Iron God warns while he squeezes every so slowly. "You will kneel before me," he adds as he lowers the choking Ayisdra to the ground, depositing his helpless form at his iron-clad feet. You see Karagash, the Iron God yell, "Frai, your advice to Aelish has led us down this path!" Ayisdra has scored a CRITICAL hit! Karagash, the Iron God flexes his muscles as he listens with growing intensity. Zagreus has scored an ANNIHILATINGLY POWERFUL CRITICAL HIT! Karagash, the Iron God expires from the impact of a mechanical cane. Karagash, the Iron God has been slain by Zagreus. A crimson blaze envelops the fallen form of the Iron God as he succumbs to his wounds, his body disintegrating into nothingness while he roars, helpless to prevent his doom. Bright white light flares from a globe of shifting dreams in the center of the Citadel. A king's ransom of golden sovereigns spills from the corpse. Zagreus's eyes glint as he reaches down and collects the gold. Zagreus suddenly scoops up the corpse of Karagash, the Iron God. You follow Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade northwest to before the Pillar of Shadow. With sudden ferocity, the shadows that envelop the Hooded One wax in power, lashing out at all around her. The ethereal tendrils slice through you painfully, causing you to stumble. You see Frai, the Hooded One yell, "Sciomore! You have led us down this path!" "FRAI, THE HOODED ONE MUST DIEEEEEEEEEE!", Zagreus screams. Frai, the Hooded One exclaims, "Oh, so did Sciomore screw up with the Narcoponatrix! Typical!" Eluisa has scored a CRITICAL hit! The final blow proves too much for Frai, the Hooded One, who expires, pitifully. Frai, the Hooded One has been slain by Eluisa. The darkness around Frai, the Hooded One disspates in an explosion of power, revealing the form of a hideously disfigured woman who melts away into a pool of shadows. Eluisa's eyes glint as she reaches down and collects the gold. Eluisa suddenly scoops up the corpse of Frai, the Hooded One. Your soft voice reaches out to Pilgrim amongst the Cairns, Eluisa Starfall, tickling her ear, "Might be best to follow Ascendant Kalas directly. I am ah. Not the most sturdy." You follow Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade northeast to before the Pillar of Beauty. ((Joining Tirah, Einke, Esei, and Ferelith attacking Serane.)) You see Serane, the Everlasting Beauty yell, "Luella! You have brought us to this mess!" Ayisdra has scored an ANNIHILATINGLY POWERFUL CRITICAL HIT! The final moments of Serane, the Everlasting Beauty have been written by a mechanical fountain pen. Serane, the Everlasting Beauty has been slain by Ayisdra. An expression of utter shock crosses the Everlasting Beauty's face; moments later, she collapses to the ground, the deep indigo light in her eyes snuffed out. Bright white light flares from a globe of shifting dreams in the center of the Citadel. A king's ransom of golden sovereigns spills from the corpse. Ayisdra's eyes glint as he reaches down and collects the gold. A ball of magnetic crystal catches the corpse of Serane, the Everlasting Beauty in its gravity field and draws it up into Ayisdra's hands. With a wistful look on his face, Zagreus touches the Pillar of Nirvana. Zagreus dissolves into tiny orbs of light which spiral upward towards the Citadel high above. You follow Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade to a glass-floored plaza. Tiny orbs of light spiral into the Citadel from below which quickly cluster together, depositing Zagreus before you. Pilgrim amongst the Cairns, Eluisa Starfall says to Zagreus, "Need the body?" Zagreus carefully lights a twisted Censer of the Tainted Earth, sending its intoxicating incense swirling through the air as it sways from side to side. The pungent scent tickles your senses, filling you with the oily, greasy sensation of Taint crawling across your skin. Zagreus spits in his hands and firmly grips a mottled klangaxe of Ouroborian damascus. With a great swing of the klangaxe, Zagreus whacks into the trunk of a rowan sapling. A rowan sapling sways back and forth, then crashes to the ground. Disciple of the Tah'vrai, Ferelith D'Cente asks, "One left?" Zagreus looses a quiet "Hrmm...", tugging gently on his salt and pepper scruff beard as he ponders for answers. Disciple of the Tah'vrai, Ferelith D'Cente says, "Sciomore?" Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade says, "Dead." Huskii utters a deep, rumbling laugh. Huskii Myeras says, "Again?" Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade says, "Touching globe should end it." Zagreus creases his brow in a frown. Disciple of the Tah'vrai, Ferelith D'Cente asks, "When was Scimore slain?" Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade says, "He died twice." Devotee of the Tah'vrai, Einke says, "We killed Sciomore before we went in." Disciple of the Tah'vrai, Ferelith D'Cente says, "That's rather rude." Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade says, "Since another group decided to wing off and kill on their own, since no one attacked all six the globe may not sense the completion." Zagreus shrugs helplessly. Kalas Zagreus, the Devouring Blade says, "We accomplished what was set out to do, though." Eluisa nods her head emphatically. Huskii nods their head sagely.
