The One Law: A poetic interpretation

The One Law
We in Gaudiguch have an old way of seeing the law
It might be weird to those who fall outside our wall
Be not prey to those who lost their way
Love is the law, Love under will
Shall ever drive our cause
Freedom of Will
When you seek to do your will
Ever mind what may go ill
Remember others for take heed
For none shall accept your greed
And it harm none, do what ye will
Freedom of Being
All accept what form you take
So long as your will you do not forsake
And by race not descriminate
This home you shall not repudiate
For here all you can do shall create
Freedom of Choice
Your life is your own for all can relate
Forget not that deeds can not be undone
Victory for all is sure to fail
But above all you'll tell your tale
Of deeds aplenty, and battles won
For all can have the deed be done
Freedom of Love
Free to love, and free to choose
None shall give you enough to lose
Held by hand, and heart entwined
Souls merged by the blessed Divine
Priest of power, and priest of might
Shall see you wed in firelight
Freedom of Desire
Free to make, and free to live
You take, and you give
But heed theft is not your friend
Or count yourself among the dead
For lost of light, and lost of dread
If you steal you'll lose your head
Freedom of Expression
Brush of fire, potion of life
All of these are without strife
Quill and ink make one think
Of a life, beyond these walls
If you think life now enthralls
You find a friend along the way
Only to find, a friend to stay
Built in patience, built with love
We give praise to the Gods above
Burning fire, stilled star song
Come now our life is long
Make it quick, or make it slow
But into slumber do not go
Live your life, in your way
For Gaudiguch is the place to stay
