I found a workaround in the form of using the embedded game up on Minecraft.net, but it's so small :(

Huzzah, my tower is almost done. And now has giant weeping faces on top of it.

place a nether portal that -doesn't- link back to Kial's
mine -all- the glowstone
finish beacon system
finish skyland
