It was considered OP by some that the defenses remained, but it was ultimately left alone because you lose them when you die/logoff. One of the big draws of the Cord (see what I did there?) is to stack defenses like this.

Yeah, I don't know where the declaration that it is a bug is coming from, it's been known / discussed / left as-is...

Aaaaaaaa, I see what you did there. This is actually a great use for a Cord.

Is there any viability to ShadowDancers as a guardian guild? I was told that since they lost their choking skill that they are more a group class now and not well equipped for solo

Technically, they're wiccan, not guardian. They're still plenty viable, from what I've seen and heard.

Going to confirm that. It's not as easy as it once was, but it still seems viable enough.

I was talking to Draylor more about Celestines, how exactly does the healing skillset work? Are you able to say, have 3-4 afflictions and cure them all using the skillset instantly without using balances or is it have its own cure balance?
Unknown2012-09-12 19:05:34
Healing uses ego, and if you run out of ego, you suffer from burnout and cannot use the skill for a good while. As far as I know, it uses no balance.
Enyalida2012-09-12 19:50:57
I believe you have to be on eq/balance but you get eqless diagnose and can cure without using any balance.

You need to be on bal/eq, but use neither when curing (afflictions) yourself (rather you spend ego - and if you run out, it's a painful burnout). You use eq when curing others. You use eq when you heal (+health) yourself or others.
