vorld:

Why do you think that?

As a combatant, given the choice of a maximum of four blessings, (Sometimes three) I think I would much rather have a life, war, beauty (sometimes) and knowledge.

I'm also pretty good for essence, so it is just not needed, really.

At higher levels, it seems like it's better to do more damage and kill more things faster then have a slight boost to essence/xp from each creature.

I must note, yes, that most things I learn in Wargames hardly ever apply in real combat situations outside that are much larger in scale. I.E., whenever I try to pull of a Discordant, by the time that set-up is finished (blanknote, pfifth, octave) and I've landed two, maybe three aurics, the enemy's dead.

I like to think I suck less in WarGames, though!

Edit: So I go for War, Beauty, Life, and Chaos?

Everyone sucks less in wargames, really. In actual combat, just have a few people hindering and the rest spamming some sort of vitals damage (mana or health kill) and the warriors whacking away as normal for pinlegs and tendons. Tada, you begin to murderize. Throw in strategy if you feel like it.

That sounds about right.

Fixed.

Fixed correctly.

Does or doesn't war work against mobs? I've heard it said it doesn't. It's pretty hard to see if it does. Has anyone ever tested this?
Unknown2012-01-21 02:01:13
It's just 10 points of offensive DMP. Offensive DMP works against mobs as far as anybody knows; it certainly should, since it is sourced from you.
Naia2012-01-21 02:07:23
It definitely works on mobs. I use it to bash over harmony, because killing faster = better xp boost
Rika2012-01-21 03:01:10
With overkill, wouldn't it actually be more beneficial in the long run to go with harmony, assuming you have no survival problems?
Naia2012-01-21 03:49:42
I have both harmony and war right now. Perfect combo for turreting through titan. Kind of useless in Faethorn skirmishes though xD

I was always told War blessing doesn't help with aetherhunting, bleh.
Unknown2012-01-21 05:03:44
I don't imagine that it does. I'm fairly sure that no skills/effects outsie of aethercraft affect aetherhunting directly.
Rika2012-01-21 05:07:05
Critical rate?
Unknown2012-01-21 05:29:20
Doh. Forgot about that. Yes. Crit rate does affect aetherhunting, though I don't believe that any skill affects crit rate.
Naia2012-01-21 05:47:01
Well, I feel like I'm doing more turret damage, more crits, seem to be getting more killshots than the others but it's probably all in my head. One shotting slivven xD

Goodluck in paradigmatics?
Xenthos2012-01-22 08:00:37
Kirigami?
Unknown2012-01-22 18:51:10
Do either of those affect aetherbashing though? I doubt Kirigami does; I don't believe that offensive DMP affects aetherbashing. Goodluck might, however.
Rika2012-01-22 20:00:52
Kirigami gives a bonus to crit rate.
