Can we please make the rarity of all curio pieces the same? There's already a ton of them flying around and with 10 curios per item, the pieces already hard to come by.
Razenth2011-06-15 04:52:53
Why should they be? Collectibles never all have the same rarity.
Unknown2011-06-15 05:46:49
Have the full descriptions for each one been found out/catalogued yet? Or what they do?
Xiel2011-06-15 06:10:12
No idea if each one of those things have been completed, but I know there's a completed mirror, beetle, cross and fountain floating around. Here's the mirror:

CODE
"glass276112"             an antiqued, gilt-framed looking glass

An antiqued, gilt-framed looking glass hangs here upon thin air, its surface brightly reflecting its surroundings.

This tall, rectangular looking glass bears the hallmarks of age and time, though despite this
retains a great deal of its original austere beauty and elegance. Its silvery surface is smooth and
unbroken, though touched along the edges with spots of tarnish and age, reflecting its surroundings
with a curious efficacy. The frame itself is a base of smooth, worn gold, the upper surface of which
has been teased into strands of complex, interwoven filigree that skirts the entirety of the curio,
glittering brightly. Upon the back of the mirror, several lines of spidery script have been written
out in neat, parallel lines.
It weighs about 20 pounds.
It bears the distinctive mark of Viynain Erid'in the Sanguine.

It plays with your reflection, which is dandy.

It's going to be impossible to get rid of all the extra common pieces everyone will be stuck with, for one.

Perhaps a way to hand in curio pieces to Jeremiah for a flat amount of gold, or perhaps hand in 2-3 pieces and get a random piece back. Or hand in 10-ish commons and get a guaranteed rare!
Ixion2011-06-15 07:39:00
Please.. yes.... turn in 10 or even 15 for guaranteed random rare one.. There are already going to be hundreds upon hundreds just sitting there that will never be of use.
Esano2011-06-15 07:51:54
Would also be nice to be able to sell curios in shops, but I don't know if that's possible with the artifact code.
Razenth2011-06-15 09:39:07
What did you do with all those commons and uncommons you had lying around? You couldn't just go to your nearest game shop and be like, "I'll give you 15 commons for a random rare". No, it just sits there gathering dust until someone wants it. Don't see why these collectibles won't be the same.
Ixion2011-06-15 09:41:02
Well frankly it's a bit ridiculous. Thousands of bits that will be useless spamming up Lusternia and some people who have bought 10 crates and only have gotten 1 rare piece isn't customer friendly.

Edit: Or even.. how about 1 rare piece + 5 random pieces= new rare piece?
Lilia2011-06-15 23:46:19
This is a promotional, money making scheme. The whole point is that you'll buy a bunch just to get the one rare you need. Once you finish your first set, you'll have all these common pieces laying around, which will make you more inclined to try to finish another set, therefore needing a new rare.
Enyalida2011-06-16 00:18:13
Give them a minor tradein value as artifacts?
Xiel2011-06-16 02:10:53
Clearly have them trade in for dingbats.

That's fine until it people get 12 crates and 2 casks only to get 2 rare pieces.
