That is not a valid fighting stance.

Might want to look into that.
For most Bonecrushers all you need to worry about are head and legs. Stance one, parry the other. More combat and more dex helps this.

Stancing really is pointless if you aren't trans.

the format of the log is too much for me to read through...
1: Get discern and use it always before -every- attack
2: @Shryke I -rarely- used claws. IMO it's not worth the time unless they are super tough (which Rika really isn't...a faeling Glom might be harder.)
3: Use combinations of Addiction/Reckless Addiction/Stupidity...Paralyse/Peace (To keep them off you) and mix it up abit. Addiction is going to slow their sipping down enough for you to catch up.
4: As the other people said, use illusions in there. Find ones that trip people up...so you should discern-ifego above 50% pvamp - whatever 2combo - dissolve - illusion...
5: Don't use raise staff 1 v 1....
edit:6: I dunno why I saw you pointing a staff at a warrior but it's setup for fail...don't do it again. Your staff sucks

I never used point staff. I'll start looking for illusion lines to use, then, and praying for credits. Does reality last longer than phantoms/claws (for when I get it)?

Yer right, I dunno what I saw...but I did a search on staff and saw 'Raise staff' used about 50 times more then I would have used it

If you wanna kill someone, keep them in the room and tank them.
Reality is ok, prone to disappear, but I guess if you the power and time to drop it, it's not gonna hurt you.
Phantoms has a chance to tangle, which reality doesn't do...to my knowledge reality is focus mind affs? I could be wrong.
Claws is just 4 ticks of 300 bleeding, which theoretically, would force them to clot spam and sip mana (unless your system knows better

Also a programmed illusion won't hurt if you ever pull off a room movement on your opposition.

Use sparkleberry, not coltsfoot. You're losing two balances every time you eat coltsfoot.

Xavius2010-01-08 03:35:43
Someone really should envoy that. If an herb can't cure anything when eaten, it shouldn't take herb balance.
Unknown2010-01-08 03:38:36
Pretty sure it's like that on purpose. Anyway, that would defeat the purpose of illusions.
Unknown2010-01-08 12:59:02
It's not a bug that it takes herb balance. In my opinion, it's a bug that you can eat what you're supposed to smoke. Either way, blame the Domoth holder who blesses it.

Telepathy is kind of crap, anyhow.
At least with TK, you can attrition the opponent down when all else fails (ie. you).

When the guilds first came out, everyone in-game and on the forums claimed that telepathy was perfect with aeromancy. :\\ Oh well, it's too late now! It fits my RP a lot better anyway.

It remains fairly good, actually. If you ever meet Mariello, he's an Aquamancer, totally underfunded as far as credits goes, but went really far with his own skills and custom system.
Generally, spamming addiction is key. They'll have a hard time outpacing you since most systems won't pause, diagnose for addiction, and then go before curing. They'll choke up and sip into it repeatedly.
Aside from that, programmed illusions are great, especially when you learn how to ignore them yourself (if the game doesn't make that happen already?) All you have to do is leave and walk back into the room to smash them with a wall of text and lots of fake afflictions.
