I have a story I wrote up for bardics a long time ago, but I'm not sure if I ended up submitting it. Is there a way to find out?

It didn't win, I'm pretty sure of it. Just happened to go through my things and notice it, wondered if I should submit it, or even if I had.

What is the difference - besides price and general look - between the doors available in the manse shop? Will things like the elementalism "door blast" ability open pine doors but not steel doors (for example), regardless of permissions set on the door?

The stronger (more expensive) ones can take more beatings before they break open. The strongest (most expensive) one can't be broken down at all. Also, any above a certain point can't be bypassed by skills like the monk Shift skill.

Door blast takes more uses to blow open a steel door, and can't break a reinforced door at all. I think there's also one or two skills that don't move you through metal doors.

What's the difference between a character background and a character history?

Is the background supposed to be what happened before you stepped through portal and the history what's happened after?

Conventionally, the background tells more about your character and regales the events that made her who she generally is. People change however, and that is why you can have several chapters to account for that change.

I have always admired the people who have the creativity, diligence, and motivation to sit down and detail their time in these games with well-written stories and accounts.
