No, but some of us have soap, which makes curing ectoplasm very quick with no setup.

Soap? Rofl. There are still so many things I don't know about this game.

Lusternia was so much easier when I was a tracker!

What happens if a vial inside my pack decays into dust while I am awake? Will I see it go?
If I'm offline will I receive a message?
Unknown2010-05-27 11:56:46
You will see it decay inside the pack, whether online or offline.

Well I asked if I would notice an item disappearing inside my pack and you said 'yes'. Then I went to bother somebody, you logged off, and I realized I wanted a little more detail. It's not your fault so don't worry!

I'm 99.9% sure I know the answer to this, but I'll ask anyway:

If FOLLOWing someone, none of the rooms entered count towards the follower's Explorer rank, do they? I followed someone through dozens upon dozens of Undervault rooms (which I hadn't previously visited) on a hunting expedition a few days ago, and my Explorer rank didn't budge one iota afterward. Having explored a few dozen new rooms today, however, it rose significantly, which is what usually happens when I explore someplace new.

If this is the case, I wish that at least some notation would be placed in HELP EXPLORERS so people won't be led to believe they've already explored an area which, in fact, they haven't (because they were exploring with a friend whom they were following, for example).
Unknown2010-05-28 17:37:51
It's been this way for so long, it's pretty much assumed everyone knows that you have to be the leader for it to count.
Sylphas2010-05-28 17:48:05
It does say somewhere. I couldn't tell you where, exactly, though.
Rika2010-05-28 20:14:11
It might have said it in the HELP EXPLORERS file of the other IRE games, but no, it doesn't say it in our own. It is true, though.
Felicia2010-05-28 23:02:03
Is it perhaps because you don't automatically LOOK at a room when you follow someone into it? Or is it simply that you have to walk into the room under your own power, regardless of whether you then LOOK at the room or not?

That should be fairly easy to test at some point, although if someone already knows the answer, I won't bother.
Sylphas2010-05-28 23:10:43
I'm almost 100% positive you have to move under your own power into the room.

It's part of the Havens quest.

...is what I would say if I wanted you to drive yourself crazy trying to find such a quest.

It eats things. We have our own 1337 version in the divine havens that makes a big show of it with fireworks and stuff.

One of these statements is only partially true.

Do I get to the upper havens by jumping into this pool? Thanks for the answer! I get it now. wub.gif
