Magnagora was a ravenous horde on monstrosities, if I remember the history correctly. I imagine Ladantine got together everything he could to attack Old Celest - which was promptly annihilated. I'm sure a lot of other things play into it, like 'Were the Tainted against Celest inherent, or was it the product of Celest's war on the taint for centuries? If the former, why didn't they just go on a murderous rampage throughout the Basin of Life? If the later, was the assault on Old Celest motivated by nothing more than greed (for power, Ladantine's desires, etc)?'

From the Fae Fate Deck, I'm guessing it's called 'Sunfire.'

The one thing all tainted creatures seem to have in common is immense ambition. Since Celest was top dog then, and the tainted likely wanted to be the top dogs themselves, it's reasonable to think that they were against Celest from the start because they wanted to overthrow them and make their own empire.
And for my question: Does the following weapon description make sense to anyone, or is it too out there. "A chipped hammer of honeyed steel."
Zalandrus2010-05-24 01:14:50
I have no idea what honeyed steel is, but if it's something that actually exists, it would seem fine to me...
Razenth2010-05-24 01:16:34
Maybe they dipped a hammer in honey...?

Definitely doesn't. Better off trying to sell a honey-toned alloy.

I imagined it invoking a color, but perhaps because it's coming from me, everyone thinks that it's literally involving honey somehow...

Oh hey, the blacklight body-painting site that search inadvertently uncovered is interesting.

Ok so some knighthood questions. Lung/crush is 60% more wounds, assault/sweep is 40% more wounds. What % more wounds is pulp in bonecrushing?
Unknown2010-05-24 01:52:12
AFAIK, it's just more swings, no bonus to wounds.

Nah, that's haymaker. I've seen it done to me (it's two swings) and the help file says it's a bonus to wounds and chance for effects. I'm just wondering how much of a bonus, can it be done with one hand, etc.
I have this strategy I've been thinking of, since breaknose does stun and is a light wound, and then beast spit mantakaya allows for bypassing parry & stance, I could probably bypass parry and stance on like 1/3rd or so of my attacks if I went BC, without using up all my power... of course, still going to be tae'dae but it's an interesting thought.

Okay, so. I've recently been using a Ur'Guard and I just have a teeeny question. Is it better to swing or jab for bashing?

Don't think it makes any difference when bashing, but read my files ghelp specializations and ghelp offense

Yet another warrior-ish question
Is it possible to engrave weapons/armour? Or would I have to actually put the saying in when I make the design?

Siam2010-05-24 08:13:35
Do demigod warriors really surpass demigod monks when it comes to bashing? Why?
