It's percentage based, is all I can tell you. You only get the equivalent of one or two lessons near inept, but fabled will still usually get you a skill or two farther than you were. Generally, though, it seems to be about 50% of whatever rank your sitting at. Ish.

If you focus your tierstone to the prime plane, will it see people in the undervault too? If it can, will it separate people in the Basin and in the UV? And if not, is it possible to focus the tierstone to the UV particularly?

Yes, no, no.

In terms of underlying mechanics, the UV is a "continent." You need to be able to see across continents for the functionality you want from it because of the divisions in other planes (e.g., you want to see all of Earth, not just the Catacombs or Mountains). Of course, I can't speak to the feasibility of coding a UV exception. That might be best done with the idea command.

Actually, it says right in the AB that you can't focus on the prime plane, so doh.gif

Are dirigibles able to be customized?

Manse trade miniatures can, and dirigibles have a specific ID for each owner. I don't see why they wouldn't.
Eventru2010-05-21 14:48:20
Dirigibles can be, sure. E-mail artifacts@lusternia.com, I believe it is.

Anyone know how much bleeding a great rune of bleeding adds? Does it just increase on hit, or will it increase how much bleeding wounds cause too?

Does beast heal spirit affect bardic aural cures?

It will cure the barbs afflictions, yes.
Unknown2010-05-22 01:31:37
What does beast curing body do? I trained my beast in it but it doesn't cure paralysis, throatlock, burst vessels or slickness so far... sad.gif That's a lot of training points!
Lendren2010-05-22 02:48:05
My information may be out of date or entirely wrong, but from what I was told ages ago, it was arnica cures.

In a spar with Celina, she did some damage attack on me that drains mana and ego and stuns me. But I was stunned until she did it a second time, which kept me stunned until she did it a third time, so I couldn't sip or heal or anything until I was dead. Is there any way to mitigate this or is there a message that says she's prepping for it?

Don't think any stun should be lasting that long (3 EQs). Do you have a log snippet? Or can you provide the message you got when she used it?

The mana/ego drain sounds like Minorsixth, maybe - but that wouldn't have stunned. The only other thing I can think of would be a fully charged discordantchord, but that would have taken 8 power to use so not recastable like that.
Unknown2010-05-22 08:48:53
No log, unfortunately. I was at 0 mana when it stunned, is that a factor?
Esano2010-05-22 10:31:24
Most likely it wasn't the same attack - a full-powered dischordantchord with octave would stun, do half mana/ego as well as a hefty hit to health, then followed up with minorsixth.

Certainly, nothing should be stacking stun.

You can't focus at 0 mana, right?

Perhaps not a simple question: after Marilynth destroyed old Celest, why didn't Magnagora/the Taint go out and hunt down anybody who tried to establish New Celest? Wouldn't Mag, an established city, easily be able to conquer a fledgling city developing not-too-far from them?

Seems like a simple solution to their desire to conquer the world, really. Silly Mag.

They were probably in chaos with no structure yet, since a bunch of them died and the rest of them went mad.
Noola2010-05-23 02:29:08
Yeah I'm sure it took a generation or two before they got their act back together enough to care about what the other folks were doing. By then, it was prolly too late to stop it.
