You need to be a trademaster to see the list of commodities...unless it has been changed.

Also, could you incorporate something like scrolls and/or chains in a design? If so, which comms would be needed for that?

Sometimes you can, sometimes you can't. For example: if you're designing a scabbard and add a belt to the design, you'll most likely get shot down since you have a 'belt' pattern already in existence. However, some things like necklaces which include a chain to the design (even if there was already a chain pattern in Jewelry) most likely won't be, so it depends on how central a part the addition of an element is to the design.

As for specific comms though, you can make those things out of anything really. You can probably make a seaweed chain if you really wanted to.

Thank you! Time to start designin'...

Is there any way to stop or heal burst blood vessels besides making the target prone, and sipping healing and eating sparkleberry?

In some spars I did with Corientumr, I was using healing and sparkleberry as well as I think was possible, and managed to wound him fairly well, but still got steam rolled by the bleeding every time sad.gif

As a tae'dae PB, I truly don't think it's possibly you can prone him enough to slow it down, at all. Clot spam and get more mana is my best suggestion, which will only work if you can build wounds and put the pain crunch on him in such time. Though.. see previous..
Unknown2010-05-18 23:40:27
Yeah vessels is like that.

People who complain that vessels is easy to cure out of don't take into account that its closest parallel, wounding, has parry/stance/rebounding/missing to contend with. All vessels has to contend with is...psi shield. They also get throatlock, blackout, trip, etc. on demand.

Good times.

Hello, hello.

I was fairly certain there used to be a list of all the things you could use in a design. Is this true or have I gone senile?

Also, could you incorporate something like scrolls and/or chains in a design? If so, which comms would be needed for that?

I think DESIGN LISTCOMMS is a trademaster command, and so:

Nevermind, I did not know this was a room effect. Thought it was only targetted!
Unknown2010-05-19 00:13:41
That's darkmoon nooby, it gives random mental affs and is removed with focus spirit /unhelpful

The world spins in darkness as the curse of the dark moon hits you.

This is new. What is it?

It has a room effect. I cannot get rid of it. Focus spirit doesn't work.

As Jello said, Darkmoon. It has a targetted and room version. It gives random mental afflicts and strips defenses.
Aliod2010-05-19 00:21:55

Sylphas2010-05-19 00:33:41
It's also whiter and looks longer than your average room effect.
Ardmore2010-05-19 00:46:09
And you guys say that choke is overpowered...

It's...reality?
Ardmore2010-05-19 01:31:49
I would disagree. With organization the opposing org can just as easily kill the choker as the choking-side can kill the choked.
I really don't see what people have against it.

But yeah, I didn't know darkmoon had a room effect to it. Thought it was only targetted.
Unknown2010-05-19 02:16:49
This does bring me to another simple question. While I know tae'dae aren't optimal, what would the best weapon spec for them be really?

You know when and who you are choking. We have to respond to you. If it's not in your favor, you don't choke. If it is, people can die nearly instantly and then you're not choked anymore. It has a drawback, sure, but it's not 1:1 like you think.

PB really, decap is useful and you can one hit slitlock/tendon many non-plate wearers. I'd say PB/AL for sure though, one handers are about speed and upkeeping their advantage. Two handers are more burst wound oriented.
