Given that tells and channels are audible (you can send but not receive when deaf, plus consider the aetherbroadcasting precedent in the histories), it's like we all have a built-in cellphone or walkie-talkie. So doesn't it make sense that MSGS are like texting? (They have a length limit, they get stored if your phone's turned off when sent, and you can still get them even if you're out of signal range.)

That raises all sorts of interesting ideas. Like, you would need an item to send sells (though it'd be cheap like a tinderbox) and being on further away planes could cause static (kind of like being drunk), and maybe even some afflictions that prevent tells from working...

Does anyone know if there's a way to resubscribe to the Lusternian newsletter? I tried to unsubscribe from the Imperian one a few months ago, but it took me off the mailing list for all of them (including Lusternia's
).

What is the maximum possible decay for newly-created Tailoring items?
What about newly-created Jewelry items?
What about newly-created Jewelry items?
From what I've seen, it depends on the skill level of the person and they have a hammer/shears. I've seen a low-skill person make a ring that would last for 56, and a high-ranking make it again with 135.
Or did cha mean what's the max total? I don't know if there even is a max, I've never seen it.

Don't forget that messages consume balance when sending!

Well, I suppose knowing how clothing and jewelry get their durability values (crafter skill plus artifact, which is about what I expected) is more important than knowing the actual maximum value.
For influencing, I want a set of high-prestige clothing and jewelry that don't clash, that suit my tastes, have a long decay time and, almost as importantly, will all turn to dust at roughly around the same time. Having a complete ensemble that lasts 3-4 RL months and has a definite deadline for replacing it with a new outfit all at once would be ideal.
This might, in theory, be possible to accomplish by spending 20 hours PRing a bunch of clothing and jewelry items in a bunch of shops, but I'd be better served bashing up gold (not to mention experience) for ten hours and then having a trans tailor and jeweler make me what I want.
Thank you for the answer!

Just fyi, P does the same thing as PR and PROBE.

You could try re-registering. If that doesn't work make a Lusternian alt and register with a legitimate email addy.

How much health, mana etc. do the beast order heal things give you?
In my system I estimate 790. I don't know if/how the amount varies with your max or beast level or whatnot.

Great Rune of Spatial Expansion: 75 credits
- Attaches to a keg or enchanter's energy cube
- Doubles its target's storage capacity for sips, doses, or charges
- Causes its target to receive 25% more sips, doses, or charges each
time it is filled or charged
- You can use KEGTAP or CUBETAP to make your keg or cube
not reset for a very long time. (Useful for shop owners.) Repeat the
command to refresh it.
- Use KEGTAP RESET or CUBETAP RESET to undo it.

So attaching this to a cube would give the cube a capacity of 2000 charges, and it would only take 15 or 16 powerstones to fill it?
Any reason this would be a bad idea for a personal cube (i.e. one I carry, not one in a shop)?
How long does it take to reset after a CUBETAP?

Q1: Roughly, yes.
Q2: No, unless you count the cost of the rune over just using an unruned cube as a downside (which makes enough sense).
Q3: Something like a week. I think it's vaguely variable.

I believe that the trick is actually to subscribe, and then lie to Imperian about your e-mail address.

If it's not too much trouble, would you mind telling me your maximum health or your beast's maximum health?
If I had to guess, your beast has 7900 health?
Zallafar2010-04-21 23:56:06
Beast H/M/E 6000/6000/15000. But a beast healing your health uses his ego to do it, not his health.
My health is around 6000, but it varies quite a bit.

I think it varies more with your personal health/mana/ego max.

Do elections close on the midnight of the IG day in which the "Days until close" reads 1? Or is there a "0 days until close" day? Or something entirely different?

There is a "0 days until closed" marker.

Can you think of some people who have been playing for a -long- time but have somehow resisted the temptation to set a motto or warcry?
Talan and Xenthos come to mind.
