Okay, people. Dramatics increased the length of song-time. Music/Specialization made MinorSecond damage stronger. Magic reduced magical damage done to you and increased zap damage. That is all.
Or so I believe 99%.

All bonuses based on lessons invested in the actual skill also benefit from lessons in the parent skill, to the tune of one-third (no pun intended).
EDIT: Barring some fluke where, say, the DMP of Nightkiss is based on your skill in Moon, but those're bugs.

THANK YOU!
Purty... we should compile all Divine drawings on a Thread.

So what did the announced event turn out to be?
Shiri2010-04-18 12:48:45
Lyreth coming back to the basin on a spaceship.

Inspiried by Kharaen, I'm trying to make clothes for changelings. However, my attempts at Mundane solutions just don't have enough flexibility for what I need. Can I use Essence or something of the sort to pass of clothing as being extrordinarialy elastic?

Provided someone is a bard with LowMagic, would being a changeling allow them to take up Brewmeister, since they can change their race to Dwarf? (This question occurred to me as a result of Xenthos' thread, but is off-topic there).
Also, tacked-on question: Dwarves seem to be one of the rarer races, and bards seem to be one of the least-populous archetypes. Adding to this the fact that dwarven bards must not only want to be Brewmeisters in the first place, but must also take LowMagic to do it (HighMagic seems preferred for the Charisma boost), Brewmeisters must be rare indeed! (The question being, is my assessment correct?)

Oh, okay. I must have jumped to some conclusion last time I was reading through skill lists.
Thanks for clearing that up!

Can someone else exhibit trophies (heads) for you, or do you need the exhibit skill yourself?
And isn't there a furniture item that'll hold heads or trophies?

Only in the sense that you can put them into a container like a box, basket, chest, dresser, desk, etc. but they don't preserve or display them. I've been advocating for a DisplayCases artisan skill that would be ideal for this (and lots of other things), and had many, many people say they love the idea, but Estarra doesn't like it.

To clarify, there isn't a racial restriction on brewmeistery. You still need to be a lowmagic bard and pick up alchemy.

For influence-strength-testing purposes, what would the strongest influencable being be? Preferrably something that isn't semi-impossible to get to (although aethertravel is very possible).

Maeve is the only one I haven't been able to influence yet with Charismaticaura, an influence beast, looking like royalty, 18 charisma. Supernals or Avatars may be stronger but I'm not sure you can influence them.
Ssaliss2010-04-19 02:05:27
Ah... Hadn't even thought of the Queen. I'll have to give it a try, I guess.
Although I'm always open for other suggestions as well!

Hmm, now that I think of it, though, I was missing a performance and the beast didn't help, because I was trying to get amnesty for someone.

If I have an eagle as a mount and I want to hunt Gemini, is there something I can target that won't end up hitting my eagle?
Xiel2010-04-19 02:34:56
'fraid not. All the nouns which would apply to Gemini eagles (eagle, bird, etc.) would also apply to the mount.
To Ssaliss: could also try Cthoglogg too.

Cthoglogg isn't too bad if he's just standing around being normal and not empowered, at least. I had no troubles with him.

That sucks, maybe you can target by id number/vnum. (in case this wasn't obvious
