The ur'guard need to mention the possibility of this happening when they train you

Now this is nerd-rage worthy: I lost like 100k worth of plate armor to vestiphobia. Is there any way besides selfishness to stop that affliction? Since I don't know it and am not sure I have the lessons to spare for it.
I'm curious as to what design you have that cost 100k. Most designs I've seen are 30k max.

AHAAAAAAAAAA. Sylphas, I bet it was you "donating" your entourage.
That's interesting though, I thought they used to have a message about bumbling around between your legs and then you lost balance. Was that nerfed for some reason?

I've seen the message rather recently, which is why I didn't consider that.
And the pigwidgeon also knocks off-balance when you fail to exit, no?

I'm wondering if it might not be an Avenger issue; it works appropriately in non-Avenger-protected-areas, but in others it triggers poorly and isn't fully stopped by not having declared.
Worth checking at least.

Am I reading things correctly in concluding that, if I remove my stat rune from my tahto, a) my tahto is automatically destroyed AND
I automatically return the rune for 2/3 its value?

The tahto should not be destroyed; it should just get its decay time back at whatever it was when you runed it (so if it was at 1 month it will die rather quickly unless you stuff it in a shop).
But yes, just 2/3 of the credits.
Zalandrus2010-04-11 15:42:08
Sigh. How I wish it weren't automatically refunded...
Unknown2010-04-11 17:23:51
If you were able to remove a rune without it being destroyed, you'd be able to just rune several weapons as you pleased, and that goes against the spirit of the system.
Zallafar2010-04-11 20:53:52
So what about the other way around? Being able to remove the rune but the weapon is destroyed?
Rika2010-04-11 20:56:15
..Why?
Unknown2010-04-11 20:56:44
You can attach more than one rune to a weapon, so that doesn't really work.

I can see the issue with monk/warrior weapons since the stats differ, but mage/druid/wicca/guardian/bard weapon runes shouldn't cause any issues being swappable. I'd love to still have my Rune of Shielding, but it poofed when I swapped guilds. If swappable it would just act like an artifact shield, basically.

What exactly is a guild rite? I know it gives experience and reminds me an awful lot of Rites of Dawn in Achaea, but one line GUILD PRIVS really doesn't help much.

Requires at least 5 other guildmembers plus you, gives karma and experience to all guildmembers present.

Is there a free, publicly available equivalent to the gem of cloaking artifact?
Eldanien2010-04-12 02:06:37
Stealth skillset. Not free. Equally available to every player, as long as they play Ninjakari or Nekotai.

And Veil is 10p and not constant, if I'm reading it right.

You're reading it right.

And, people can still see you on QW, if I remember right.
