Sounds like that overly-sensitive reviewer who seems to think that everything must conform to certain limitations (their image of right / wrong) got at your design, and maybe the subsequent reviewers just haven't cleared that comment?

That's not really an acceptable one it would seem to me, so you can flag it for Divine Review. Maybe they'll have a talk with this person about being overly restrictive. tongue.gif

There a few things I definitely want divine review on. I'd love to nitpick the stylistic differences, but if it was just those I'd be willing to keep rewriting until it passed. This is like the third round of rejections, when everything else I've ever designed has passed without comment. sad.gif

Not sure if you missed my edit (it was the last on the page for me, and Xenthos posted right afterwards). Anyway, here we go again:

QUOTE (Eventru @ Jan 25 2010, 03:52 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
If you wish to refute the reason for rejection, you can resubmit it with NOMORTALREVIEW - realize it will take quite a while, as the Charites are largely dedicated to overseeing the mortals now.

Though the way it is setup prevents you from getting in a submit/reject war with the same mortal reviewers - though if it is rejected several times, and you've refused to change what multiple reviewers have rejected it for, then it's even less likely to be seen (because it's sitting on mortalreview, and no mortal reviewer can touch it, until someone notifies the Charites).

This came from this thread.

Okay, two more questions that I hope are simple...

First question: when a beast turns adult and you still happen to be training it, i.e. administering agents.... does it now take 4 feed rather than the usual 2? Because I find that every time I check on my new beast I can only administer 1 agent instead of two.... sometimes none!

Second question: With the perfumes, can anyone tell me what you apply to what so I don't end up wasting money and applications to try and figure it out myself? I find sandlewood goes on your legs....

Didn't even know you could apply more than one perfume at a time... You managed to get me curious as well.

I always just APPLY SANDALWOOD.

5530h, 6300m, 7500e, 10p elrxk<>-apply sandalwood
You take out some oil and quickly rub it on your skin.
As you luxuriantly rub the slippery, lutescent oil into your skin, you sniff abruptly and inhale the clean fragrance of sandalwood.

Feeds are counted the moment you put them in the feedbag, not when they're actually consumed. It's 2 feeds per reagent.

QUOTE (Sylphas @ Apr 2 2010, 12:42 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
What looks like a damned wedding band? Apparently it has to have a damned wedding cake or something on it, because this the third time I've had a ring come back for, among other reasons, "This doesn't look like a wedding ring." Why does it matter what it looks like? If I want to jack up the price 10x and make it non-enchantable, why does the reviewer care?

Also: Should I issue myself or just message the Charities directly about comm use questions raised by a reviewer, or is there some way to purposely flag a design for divine review when you submit?

Hrm. It's a somewhat legitimate concern. I can flip through my compendium (or even you could) and note that all the weddingbands tend to be 'wedding ring' or 'engagement ring' or 'promise ring', or something of the like. The category is, after all, weddingbands. It'd be somewhat odd submitting a tea as a whisky unless you are making hot toddies, that's as close to reasoning as I can get to the rejection.

I currently am not happy with reviewers cause of how long my stuff has been up on the queue, so don't think I am taking their side tongue.gif

Thanks for telling me about the moment you put them in the feedbag thing.... buuuut, heres the problems with the 2 feeds per reagent...I decided to experiment for myself and see if I was right in my guess that it was 4 feed now.

I summoned her after having her feed from her feedbag in the stables, she has consumed 4 of 5 feed.
I try to administer a reagent knowing it wouldn't work since I had already administered all I could before sending her to the stables 4 or 5 hours previous.
I put 2 feed in and a reagent doesn't work.
I put in 2 more and it does.
I'm mostly annoyed because it says nowhere that I've read that it changes from 2 to 4 feed when they mature. crying.gif

EDIT: I put 2 in later after she had just been out and following me around and I was able to administer another one. My new theory is 4 feed to one reagent if in stable, 2 feed to one reagent if out. But this is only after they mature. I had no trouble when she was young.

How can I see the most prolific posters for a given thread? I remember Rainydays? posting a link to people ranked by number of posts but the feature seems to be hiding.

I'm interested in joining Kalikai's Order, so could anyone give me names of Order members who are non-Munsia?

We're (as far as I'm aware) allowed to take bardic/artisinal works into the game after submitting them. Are we allowed to invert that, and bring things written in-game to the Bardics? Assuming you're the author, of course.

Yes, they're totally independent; as long as a work is yours and meets the requirements for each one, you can submit it to each one whenever it suits you to do so.

I don't suppose anyone would happen to have all of the histories in a nice pdf (or even word...) file?

For reference, unless something is wrong with your design, you don't -have- to change it.

I submitted a scroll design once, and the appearance was "bound with crimson", or "bound in crimson" or some such. It was rejected by one person who said it needed to be "bound with crimson thread", and make sure to note what material it was bound with. I resubmitted it as is, and wrote on the note that the reviewers job was to judge the syntax, not the design and that it wasn't any of their business what my design looked like, so long as it fit the rules.

(tl;dr? Judge my grammar and syntax, not my design. It's not your job.)

I'd guess a fair bit of the city leadership is now, but Lyria specifically comes to mind.

So riposte in bonecrusher makes an automatic swing if a target fully parries you. And there's a shield riposte skill in combat that stuns your opponent if you parry them. Does the stun from shield riposte stop the attack from bonecrusher riposte?
