That is. AWESOME.

This. It's what I plan on doing... provided my circlet ever gets approved to my rune on.

Yeah, cause.. this should be allowed. Didn't they have a change not too long ago about dominating people into attacking mobs?

I thought the Supernals were just pissed at Celest again.

Can you imbue an artifact, offer it, and then have it reset to you later?

This is when we make use of two excellent commands.

ISSUE and BUG are your friend.

Raise your hand whomever has an artifact they are willing to try this with!?

Actually, as long as the esteem has been removed when it comes back, this sounds fine.

As far as I know, it was only changed to track who commanded the attack itself so as to find the Avenger root, but was never actually changed to not be able to do. Painful, but seems folk like it being viable.

I had thought it was supposed to let the mob know to attack the person who dominated instead.

That is actually how I had read it, myself... thought it was a great change, too.

This, not so much.
Shaddus2010-02-19 04:05:28
I bugged it last time he did it, and was basically told it wasn't a bug.
Unknown2010-02-19 04:09:57
Nothing new. That's been done on Faethorn too: stand at Maeve, wait for defender, order defender kick Maeve.

I recall having that done to myself and at least one other by Narsrim not too long before whatever the change they made was.
Everiine2010-02-19 04:25:23
Issue him. Narsrim practically shat a brick and did issue people when we accidentally found out that springtraps could still move you into a mob. Somehow though, I'm not surprised that he would use his own loophole.

Is it against the rules to go into the arena, inscribe a crap ton of runes, and heartstop ad nauseum?

It is now that you've mentioned it, even if it wasn't before.
Kante2010-02-19 05:48:12
grrr.gif

Inscribing runes takes so much freaking willpower.

Another question: Does willpower regen while you're offline?

An interesting story, really. I asked if this was possible before (or if it was immediately after) I bought my gloves of harvesting, and they said something along the lines of "Yeah, that's doable". When I try to imbue, it says it's not a valid item to imbue though. So... yes but no?

EDIT: Ah, found the message!

04/10 07:25 "Regarding issue 122, as you surmised, you can charge artifacts with esteem and offer them at shrines and so long as they are resetting (i.e. not a single use artifact like the dagger of reincarnation) they will return to your inventory."

I can't for the life of me remember what I asked though, specifically.
