What's the new Serenwilde meld message look like? Here's Glomdorings:
You crouch low and release a raucous, terrifying cry that echoes through the air about you, the shadows about you whispering names of power and binding. A terrible mauve light twists across the ground and you become one with the land.
I like it, if not for the usage of "about you" twice really close together.

Hartstone looks the same as before.

Why would anyone ever sprinkle salt instead of pentagram or circle? Is it faster?

You can SPRINKLE SALT AROUND *PERSON* to give them a shield.

I believe you can sprinkle salt for your allies. So you can offer protection if they transverse to Ethereal and instantly get zapped before they recover equilibrium. Celestian phials are faster but I think you have to fill a phial of holy water from their Font.
Arte2010-02-14 02:06:48
It's faster than shielding if you have increased balance speed.

Sprinkling salt (or sulfur) uses no mana.

Does erecting a shrine cost a God anything (Essence, cookies, etc.)?

If I'm understanding Wikipedia, then yes, possibly.
From what I've seen, each cut has two random factors: What is cut, and how much. Both seem independant of one another and of previous cuts, and the distribution of gems seems to be set up so that from a batch of 100, you can reasonably expect to average out at least 5 of a specific gem and 1 or 2 powerstones. However, you're also fairly likely to get sulfur or salt at least once.

Yep, costs essence to raise a shrine. Costs even more essence to use the shrine powers.

Any idea how much essence (to raise a shrine)?

More than is lost from spiritual distance.

Veyrzhul2010-02-14 14:00:43
Oh, I always thought it only cost essence if the shrine was dusted.

Lock into a module, check your will, then log out for 5 minutes. Log in and check again.
Ssaliss2010-02-14 15:03:36
That's what I did, and I didn't regen. Others seem to though.
