Why does Rad yank people off of crosses?
Doman2010-02-10 21:52:17
Magic!

Magic!

Jacked up, if you ask me.

If only John had taken up runes, Jesus might've been ok!

What stops gedulah from working?

Being off EQ or balance. No afflictions stop it currently, IIRC.

Also not having 3 power available.
Sylphas2010-02-10 22:48:42
What's the difference between Green and Full? I probably used to know this and totally forgot. Both three power affliction curing skills.
Mirami2010-02-10 22:52:33
Green cures three Two regardless; full changes based on the moon phase, curing 5 at full moon and less (0?) at new moon.
Unknown2010-02-10 23:06:24
Green and Gedulah do two afflictions.
Unknown2010-02-10 23:47:43
Full also can't be used while paralysed, while that might be changing in the near future!
Shamarah2010-02-11 01:33:47
Isn't greenulah stopped by having both arms amputated or something? Not that that's ever going to happen, but still.

See: Pyro demesne.

Happens pretty regularly as-is.

And yes, both arms lopped off is pretty much game over.

How "limited" are science experiments in Lusternia? Can we use/have tools that measure in microliters, grow cells, and analyze cells?

Hallifax has computers, so I would guess so. But I'm not an authority.
Unknown2010-02-11 05:16:46
Hallifax has 'magical computers'. I'd be very wary of trying to work cells, germs, etc. in in-character. There's no indication that that's how biology works in Lusternia.
Shamarah2010-02-11 06:02:28
Yeah, considering all the races except Human and Faeling are literally created by the gods, there's really no reason to assume they function the same way as us. For all we know the digestive system works by magic.
Doman2010-02-11 06:04:13
Well, considering at level 80, we start breaking laws of physics...yea, and that's not counting skills

Don't forget Viscanti, and Illithoids are probably freaky on the inside.

Not true, full is much better. It can cure a truckload at full (about 9 iirc) and about 3 at new moon. It's been a while since I had it but it was always better than the former

You should browse the libraries before you ask, there have already been various people who engaged in scientific experiments concerning cells and even photosynthesis.
