If it's a quest, there ought to be another way. If there isn't, submit a bug report for it?
Kiradawea2010-02-08 15:07:49
I don't think it's bugged. I know it's been done before but... I don't recall if that was before or after the riding change.
Unknown2010-02-08 15:21:12
I'm sure it's been done before, but what I'm saying is that if people require(d) Lasso to get the quest done, that it may now need an update.
Kante2010-02-08 15:27:36
What happened to cause just about every Administrator in every guild to leave? Gaudi and Halli?

Munsia did the quest after.
Kiradawea2010-02-08 16:03:31
Actually, it's the same with the unicorn in ethereal faethorn.
Eventru2010-02-08 16:19:44
Aestra (should) follow when ordered (presuming you've finished the quest and freed Aestra).
The unicorn will follow via a small quest.

Since I doubt she's tried it yet, I will save Kiradawea some headaches, especially since details like this can be discussed now.
Saving Aestra, once everything else is done, will require killing Nigelo twice (haha lich). The second time, he will summon you to a room with no exits via empress, so if you have people with you, you better follow whoever got the killing blow the first time so you all get pulled.

Thanks. Hrm. Now to get help enough to actually get up there.

Edit: Yet another question! Is it worth going for transcendent phantasms if lessons are tight? Phantasmagoria doesn't look like it's all that useful. Is dispelling illusory terrain faster than realitycheck?
Edit2: What the heck does phantomsphere unite do? And when you weave them, are they supposed to show up in a random room for your demesne rather than your room? Man these things are confusing.

Meep. Anyone?

What effects upon the well of souls does the Caoimhe quest have? Do you have to complete all of it to fill the well? (Seems to me that only getting Jaryn to water the plant should be enough).
Finishing the quest causes to Well of Souls to become full again. You have to do all of it. The point is that the Well is driven by both Springs, so you have to have blessed both Springs for it to refill again.
Kiradawea2010-02-08 22:20:30
How long does it stay full? Only until the next full moon?
Unknown2010-02-08 22:25:45
Don't quote me on this, but it lasts about two Full Moons before it's drained. There's a stage between full and empty where it says the waters are shallow.
Kiradawea2010-02-08 22:27:50
Hrm. But it needs to be completely full for you to do Maeve's sceptre quest. Oh well, I know how to do it, and Arco is so adorable, I don't think it is legal.

Realitycheck is generally more reliable, as if you fail a dispell you're offeq for a fairly long time.
Phantomsphere unite brings the phantomsphere to you. And yes, they are supposed to show up in a random room - it also takes no balance to weave, so you can weave/unite for just unite's cost. It also does not -require- balance or eq to unite or move, although it takes some eq.
Dynami2010-02-09 00:15:22
Do people still need to be on balance for raise staff(with an Aeromancer staff) to fling them into the air?
Arte2010-02-09 00:19:07
Yes. If your target is off balance/equilibrium, prone, paralyzed, entangled, or otherwise in any state which would prevent the voluntary use of 'fly', raise staff will not affect them. The only thing it "goes through" is airnet.

If you win a seal event, but don't win the Ascendant challenge, do you get to keep your medallion?
