I was away when Riding changed to Beastmastery. I know I have to convert my collar'd Pegasus to a beast. What's the simplest way to do this? Since it's already collar'd, is it possible to "mess it up" and be left with a permanent useless pet?

Issue yourself, remember to quote the number.

Where's Glom's org blessing?

Sometimes when an organization makes a very large purchase through their patron, the administration decides to add something on. Celest spent, I believe, some fifteen million sovereigns (not to mention commodities!) on their gardens. A small pilgrimage quest with a blessing at the end was thrown in.
There's never any guarantee of course - and, for those unaware, no, players cannot purchase quests. Sorry!

What are the max stats on flails, morning stars, maces, and hammers?

Is it possible to get a listing of all 'unread threads'? Something similar to "today's active threads" would be awesome. I've been away for a bit and want to catch up.
I don't understand why the little cross for each subforum gets greyed out (all threads read) but as far as I can tell there's no similar feature for individual threads.
EDIT: Nevermind, I'm just blind.

There is; the red / blue icons to the left of a thread tells you if there are new posts. You can also click the orange icon to go to the first unread post.

So what's HolyLight do.

HolyLight Wield the manifold blessings of Holy Celestia
Mythical 66%
Much like the Celestine Saints of old, so blessed by the Supernals and devout in your ways are you that your soul may be imbibed with the smallest portion of the Light of Celestia. Though not as powerful nor as capable as the ancestral saints, a mortal soul may contain much of the Holy Light of Celestia, measured in globes. Though your soul is unable to take the pure and unadulterated glories of Glorious Celestia, it may contain up to thirty spheres without suffering. These spheres may be accrued in a variety of ways, often from performing acts valued by the Holy Supernals. Elohora and Raziela look well upon acts of great sacrifice and restoring life to the dead, while Japhiel favours those who seek to ensure the undead and their unnatural existence are purged from the lands. Shakiniel, ever protective of the Light, oft blesses those who put down those who would do the Light harm. Methrenton, ever ready to charge those who would do harm to the Light and its protectorates, favours those who slay the infidels, so marked by the devout of the Light.
The Holy Light of Celestia may take many forms, oft with the intent of protecting and healing the Sacraments User.
Syntax: STARCHANT HOLYBEING
Holy Light: 15
Using much of the Holy Light stored within, the Devout may infuse their very soul with the Light of Celestia, temporarily becoming something more than simply mortal. Those Holy Beings of Celestia that are so formed are less than Saints and Archons, however still formidable beacons of light and love upon the battlefield. Though such a transformation is not permanent, while it is maintained the Holy Being will emanate an aura that will not only purge their own pure form of afflictions, but those of their allies, as well.
Syntax: STARCHANT HALLOWEDPRESENCE
Holy Light: 10
It is said the Saints of Old were able to purify all that came before them, no matter how foul or dark its corruption. Expending much of their Holy Light, one of true devotion to the Light is able to call upon the Glory of Celestia, exuding a presence so hallowed and sacrosanct that not only the ground that they stand upon will be purified, but so shall their surroundings.
Syntax: STARCHANT NUMEN WITH HOLY LIGHT
Power: 4 (Pool of Stars)
Holy Light: 5
Known for his steadfast devotion to the protection of the innocent, the Dawn's Promise, said to have perished in a most glorious battle long ago, is said to have been able to withstand the most terrible of blows without so much as wincing. By imbuing a luminous spirit with one's own Holy Light, a true devout of the Light will be able to maintain the aura of numen longer than those who do not, allowing them to stand upon the field of battle as he did long ago, shielding their own weak flesh from the wounds of their enemies.
Syntax: STARCHANT RIGHTEOUSARMS BLESS
Holy Light: 5
Regularly leading the charge of battle, the Flame's Blade was known for her righteous charges into the fray and thick of combat, armed with her faith. It is said that she would spend each night offering prayers to each Supernal in turn, beseeching their manifold blessings upon her own armaments. When Shakiniel answered, they allowed both the Celestine's symbols and the Paladin's weapons to be so blessed, while Raziela lent a special gift of her own - as blows were struck upon those who the Light was forced to rise up against, the champions of the Light would find her love and warmth washing out from their own blades, washing away the first impurity or affliction the blessing might find. Methrenton, eager to see the unnatural purged from the land, empowered his sister's blessing with his own strength, fortifying it so that, should those the devout must fight against be undead, the effects of the blessing are doubled. Blessing those who stand against those who would harm the Light, Elohora's gift was so that the righteous would be filled with the Light of Celestia, so that one might gain Holy Light while attacking.
Syntax: STARCHANT HOLY HEALING
Holy Light: 3
The Light not only defends and raises arms against those that would corrupt all that is good, it also heals the sick and restores wounds, leaving those lucky enough to be touched by the hands of a passing priest of the Light, be they Celestine or Paladin, greatly restored. Wounds will be healed, the mind refreshed and ego restored for any who are blessed enough to be imbued with the restorative powers of the Holy Light.
Syntax: STARCHANT INFIDEL WITH HOLY LIGHT
Power: 3 (Pool of Stars)
Holy Light: 10
In addition to branding one's enemies as an infidel, they may empower such a mark with the Holy Light stored within oneself. By reaching out to the Holy Supernal Methrenton, even He levies His condemnation against the unholy and marks them as an infidel, causing the mark to remain longer than before, and causing their aura's opening to become larger than ever before, increasing the likelihood of revealing heretics truly worthy of an Inquisition.

It's a good week to be a sacraments user.
The light sure is "glorious". Gloriously glorious, even. Who's writing this crap?

Just now, it seems.

I guess the solution to cauterizing the bleeding wound that is Celest's player base is to ramp up skills.

Rika2010-02-03 03:36:10
So, can a non-Celestian get holylight or is it just another one to add to the long list?

They can (currently). I don't know if that will change.
Edit: And Sacraments has been rearranged a bit, with HolyLight being broken into multiple skills like it seemed like it should be.
Razenth2010-02-03 03:43:31
Oh man, please make it not! The total list of abilities I could use in Sacraments used to be Emissary and Lastrites. Now its Emissary, Lastrites, Holyhealing, Holybeing, and maybe even Righteousarms and Hallowedprescence if I could figure out the syntaxes!
I suppose it will eventually though.

The abfiles are up (except for RighteousArms, which is being weirdly buggy and will be fixed soon). STARCHANT RIGHTEOUSARMS does give the syntax though.

Wait nvm.

Is that a new method of breaking a meld? I thought only FORCEFLOOD etc could do that.
