The taint seems to have just made Night and everything related to it more cruel and secretive (though for all we know she could've just as cold and ruthless beforehand, the Rowena part of the histories seems to suggest otherwise). If anything changed with the night fae or avatars it would probably be in their posture and demeanor, and more purple Wyrdy stuff.

Hmm, so for Night, if I base the design of a Redcap, Barghest and Slaugh I should have it covered? I'll try that. Safer than trying to sneak in and get a good look at em.
I heard that Raziela was the strongest Supernal mechanically. Then why was she lower on consider than Methrenton, Shakiniel and Elohora?

Consider is only based on their approximate level (i.e. health). They can still add an attack that would one-shot everyone on a baby rat, and it'd still be weak and feeble.

I thought consider was based on level, and that level is involved in both health and damage dealt with an attack.
Shamarah2010-01-27 20:45:54
Level doesn't really apply to smobs in the traditional sense anyway since they get weaker when there are more people in the room.
Gleip2010-01-27 20:46:35
Oh? That seems... a bit backwards. How does that work?

Level does have a part in both health and damage, but it's easy enough to alter the damage to be insane, even for low-level mobs. So it's not certain that a mob of lower level has a weaker attack than one of a higher level (although it's generally that way). And then there's special attacks that deal afflictions and whatnot as well.

It's so that they can only be taken down by massive coordinated efforts rather than 5 demigod warriors who get bored.

Okay. Back to design questions. What can be used to dye cloth for designs besides tints?

In terms of assigned comms or "this item has been dyed red using X"?
Gleip2010-01-27 21:25:00
Assigned comms please.
Especially things that can create black or bonish-brown.

You could use herbs. Really you can use anything in DESIGN LISTCOMMS. I'll PM that to you

Doman2010-01-27 21:37:47
black would be one of each tint
Shaddus2010-01-27 21:40:21
Just don't mention the dyed part. If it's brown or black cloth, I'm sure you don't have to put commodities in for it. I've never had to before.
Gleip2010-01-27 21:41:13
Thanks.
Daereth2010-01-28 00:59:18
Fist sigil? Useless or useful?
Razenth2010-01-28 01:05:28
Iunno, it's pretty useful when bashing and the stupid things break my arms. It won't stop stuff like severed nerves though.
Unknown2010-01-28 01:10:04
Useful.
Shaddus2010-01-28 01:12:41
Useful, and cheap enough to be worth it even if they don't make a difference.
Aoife2010-01-28 04:51:47
If I'm tailoring an item that uses a lot of different gem-types, do I need to set the comms for each gemstone type, or can I use "gems" the comm to encompass them?
To clarify, I'm designing an item that uses about... 12 different gemstone types, among other things. Do I need to set each one as a separate comm, or can I just use "gems"?

If it's a gem seen in Lusternia, you need to put the actual gems. Stuff like crystal/non-listed gems can usually use gem comms.
